Default template problem

hi guys,

update: I just pursuaded my parents into buying me the template!!!

But I ran into a problem: the pictures for the top of the menu, the bottom of the menu, and the little arrows beside the links won't show on my website, but when I click preview on dreamweaver, it woks perfectly.

my site: www.halo-central.com

what is is supposed to look like (compare the menus): http://www.thetemplatestore.com/drea...lcreampopouts/

Any solutions?

Cheers,
Gigababbler

GigaBabbler,

Hmm, maybe I am not understanding your question correctly, but to me, the overall look and feel for the menus for both halo-central and the template are identical. I don't see images in either one, though. Both have arrows before the text, but that's about it.

lol, yeah, I just fixed it up. Apparently, some images didn't get uploaded on my web server.

Another question: the part where it says "company name", how do I change that? Do I have to make my own image? Can you recommend me some free photo editing programs???

Thanks
Gig

Yeah, you're right, you would have to create your own image.

There is a free software called GIMP, which is pretty decent: http://gimp.org/

When you create the image, though, make sure that the background of the image matches the background, so it wouldn't stand out. From the source code, it looks like the background color is #90A1B9

Hope that helps.

Sherif

EDIT: just to clarify, when I say background color, of course, I mean the background color for the header, which is different that the background color for the content area. I hope this makes sense.
