Default Dream Weaver Site Map?

I know there has to be a way to make a site map in Dream Weaver. Does anyone know for sure? I've been looking for it, but can't find it. If not, what is the easiest way to do it?

Do you mean a sitemap for the search engines (XML file for Google Sitemaps, etc.) or a sitemap that gives the user an overview of all your pages?

I'm assuming you mean the latter and if so, the page below talks about sitemaps but I'm not sure it's what you're looking for. It creates a graphical representation of your files but I'm assuming you want something you can publish for your visitors right?

I just created mine manually. I've never seen a function in Dreamweaver to create what I would want.

Wow, I thought they were the same thing Then I guess I want both.

How in the world do you wrap your mind around that many pages? Your sites are huge!

This is my first site map, but I'll give it a try. ty Lisa

I was going through this stage sometime last week, I found a great Java Applet that created my site map online and let me exported it into an xml file free of there links or any advertisements, I then pinged the search engines and social bookmarkers and I had a fully functional sitemap.

Heres the generator

Download Java (if you dont have it already) http://www.java.com

I also created one for my human users so they could navigate around my pages, you can do this in Dreamweaver by just creating text links, hyperlinks etc. just basic stuff.

Good luck
