I am very new to web design (obviously). I have a copy of Dreamweaver, but it did not make sense to me. I need to get a page done, so I used MS Publisher. I noticed several features you guys are using like adding video; possibly adding flash, Meta tags etc. that does not seem like option with MS Publisher. Again, I did not know what else to use and followed Lisa suggestion about building my site first myself.

Here are my questions/concerns:

1.How much (how little) am I going to be able to do with MS Publisher?? Am I pretty much limited?

2.She (Lisa) suggested I add Meta Tags to each of my pages. How do I that in Publisher??

3.How do I center my site? I have gotten feedback that on larger screens my site have a lot of white space on the right side; my top banner does not look centered, but on my monitor it looks fine. How to a fix that?

4.What web design software would you recommend first a newbie like me ?? I want to learn, believe me , I really do.
