Default OpenOffice.Org

You guys might have heard of this by now but if not, Open Office is a new java based Microsoft Office. As un web like as it may sound it actually works graphic and animation wonders in regards to enhancing the look of your web site.

I played around with OpenOffice Draw (one of the great applications in this package) and was able to make transparent 3D objects and stuff like that, im sure with enough playing around 1 might be able to do some futuristically sweeeet development with this stuff, you might want to brush up on your developer skillz if you have any before you download this freely distributed software from http://www.openoffice.org/

Once again I hope this has been helpful

Oh I was able to insert that drawing i made as an OLE object into my website builder and it was GREAT, as a beginner I got advanced wit it.

talk to me.

I have installed a copy a while ago as a replacement to the microsoft office, not really heavily using it but looks good and features are quite complete.

I have used OpenOffice in the past, and found it works nicely. It was hard for me to be de-Microsoftized and learn where all the features were, but it was a nice alternative to Office.

Thumbs up yea but...

At first I didnt use it alot either although i thought it was cool and useful
but i guess i'll build a website showing people how Open office is under-estimated and how great it actually is for website development. You'll see.
