can someone please help me? ok - i purchased the thesis theme 3 months ago and followed all the directions on how to get it installed. well, after doing EVERYTHING it still doesnt show up under my appearance/themes section in my dashboard area. i am, however, currently using wordpress dot com. how do i get thesis to appear? i even purchased that upgrade css for like 14 bucks as well hoping that it would solve my issue. can some PLEASE help me, im so frustrated. thanks to all!

Is Thesis compatible with WordPress.com? I guess I see no reason why it wouldn't be but I've never heard of anyone using a premium theme on the .com version. I'm assuming you uploaded to thesis folder to your themes folder right?

Unfortunately, you can only use the themes that are already available on the WordPress site. Only the VIP users get to use custom themes.

If you want to use the theme you purchased, you will need to download WordPress from the dot org extension (sorry, can't post links) and setup your blog on your own hosting.
