I'm trying to publish edited web pages using Kompozer and it's telling me it's been published but no changes are actually appearing on the website.

Someone replied to a similar question a while ago but I can no longer find the thread so am posing the question again.

Also, the response was a bit brief and I was unable to follow the steps, unfortunately I need it spelt out as though I was five

I had the same problem using Komposer no matter how I configured it. I finally resorted to just uploading via filezilla and calling it a day. Oh, and I no longer use Kompozer. I sometimes find that some of these editors slow me down. I make more progress either using a theme or writing my own code.
