uploading page onto my computer

Ok I have a new page on my website which my webmaster put on for me. I forgot how to get it up-loaded onto my computer so that I will have it. It's already on the server i just need it.

All you need to do is keep a copy of the file html file along with all your other files that you have on your computer in the same folder.

But I forgot how to do the copy. The procedure in doing it. I did save the page in documents.

If you have ftp program you log on your server find the file and transfer it to your computer in the same folder where all your other website files are.

What you want to do is download the file. Open up your FTP software and login to your website's FTP server. Then instead of transferring the file from your computer to your FTP server (your website) do the opposite. Usually you can do that by right clicking on the file and the selecting download in your FTP software. Of course that procedure depends on the FTP software you are using.

You will have right click on your file and select copy. Once you copy the file login to your FTP account and paste the file in your root directory.
