Hmmm...I like the header. I think the ads are too invasive. I see the ads next to your text and the first thing that comes to my mind is that what you wrote is about those ads. Plus, the black lettering is too bold or large or something. Need to toss some color in there somewhere. When I think healthy, I think rainbow. But that's just me.

But hey, you're really pumping out the sites. I have over a dozen domains that I need to build sites for, so I can't knock you for getting yours up and running. Are your sites getting lots of traffic?

I like the site but the for some reason by seeing the title and the header I assumed that the site would be about natural and healing foods. The ads like Dee said are huge and could probably be placed differently. I guess once you add more content it will not looks overwhelming. I loved the natural health tips section (I think that was the section) as I eat natural and juice almost everyday. You talked about buying a quality juicer so maybe you could go into what makes a quality juicer. You also recommeded buying certain products from the grocery store which to me personally is the biggest culprit of nhealthy eating. I try to spend the least amount of time there and the most at the farmers market. To much labelreading for me at the grocery store. Overall good site thoug. Dont want to nitpick but this is someting near and dear to my heart. PM me for some good natural living sites with link for great articles. How did you get accepted for google so quickly since you just got it up?

I would suggest getting rid of the borders first of all, you'll find it looks much better than it currently is. Also, the header seems a bit squished. Is that done on purpose because it makes it hard to read. Your navigation is very nice.

I would also suggest adding a bit more images around the site. Lastly, the ads at the top between the header and content don't look that good and tidy, try and neaten that up. That's all from me.

I have to agree with the ads, seems like you have more ads than content. I would try and build up the site to offer more solid content, and then have ads or less ads to generate the cash flow, if a basic person goes there and sees 3 things of ads, they are just going to click off it. Content will have people hanging around and visiting other pages off that page to drive your income, sometimes less is more.

My feel on this site I didn't have direction on where to really go. Was it health? Was it weightloss? Strength training? My first impulse was to click away. To many ads bothered me. Getting rid of the borders would help. IMHO having the menu on the right works better especially for the weightloss niche, at least it does for me.

I Just felt like the flow of the page made me just not even bother past the Logo really. I hate to be brutal. But that's how I felt when I hit your site

Make sure to install google analytics and see what your bounce rate is. How long people stay on it etc.
I have a niche site I was getting 200 hits a day but my bounce rate was 68% my avg user only stayed 45 seconds not good. But I changed my format a little bit to lead them where I wanted them to go. My bounce rate dropped to 32%, My optins increased by 15% and people that stayed on my site increased to an avg of 10 minutes.
So always test everything.

Ok . I will remove the border from the header. But the second border is to highlight the contents on the page, thats the main reason i used it.

Well the site is about health overall, weight loss, getting a flat stomach + abs, health related foods, getting in shape, how to protect yourself from certain diseases and illnesses, etc.

I will also cut down on the ads. But the ads in the menu section blends in well so i will let it stay.

Do you think it would be more effective to the visitors if i removed the border around the content?

1. Like the header, but think you can make it smaller, thus bringing your content higher up, when a visitor clicks on it. The black border distracts from the page.
2. I would make your sub-title either the color of the title or pick a color from your graphic. You don't need to underline the sub-title. The sub-title also repeats the title....try to pick something more constructive to describe the content.
3. You have ads by Google in three different places. Like Lisa suggests, make your ads the same color as your major links, to sort of hide them. The black horz. bar with Google ads at the top is distracting. I personally don't like to find ads near the top of any website.
4. The Google search box is too wide.
5. The first graphic in your content is again, way too big...you want to get your readers down into the meat of your article as soon as you can.
6. Again, I don't think yoiu need the border around your content...distracting.
7. Not a big fan of Donate buttons. Your use of Google ads three times and the donate button, tell me, that your more interested in making money off of ads than supplying quality content.
8. The black and gray navigation table just doesn't compliment the page. Again, I would try to use some of the colors in your title graphic....
9. I would add your copyright notice and/or privacy policy to the footer.
10. Great idea, with a few tweaks...Good luck with the new site!

The colour that you're using in the menu looks fine by me. The problem I am having with the site is where or what to click on next...

----> The first thing I clicked on before realizing it was "Ads by Google" under the healthy living heading took over the page and took me to a page of google ads... Had a near imposiblity to get back to your page using the back button. Actually had to close the page, come back here to get back onto your site. I would suggest any ads to open a new tab or window (_blanc page). I would also suggest to make the ads seperate from the actual menu. If I was looking for actual content and that happened I wouldn't be coming back to your website.
---->On the main page, it might be nice to also site a source like you did on the "what is health" page. From some feed back on my site, people have stated that my source siting makes them feel more confident to trust my content than other similar sites.
----> The google search bar seems a bit intrusive with how long it is... I might suggest shortening it.
---->The blue title "Healthy Living n You - ..." seems to be kind of off to me... perhaps a colour from the graphic and pulling the green version from the graphic, or making the "healthy living n you -" part invisible (Same colour as background for SEO reasons) and make "The Best Way of Living" a colour matching from the graphic so they flow together.
---->I noticed Google Ads in 2 spots and might suggest removing one of them (mostly the ones mixed into the top of your menus)
---->Just as SgtMac stated, I would add a privacy and copyright notice on the bottom. Best suggestion is the copyright notice and a notice that leads to a privacy page. You can make one that covers ALL your websites so you don't have to duplicate it over and over. (check out my talk-computer website at the bottom for an example for privacy policy link and page. One of my link share partner companies suggested it and said mine was one of the better ones he has seen. If you want to copy and alter my privacy page to fit your needs you are more than welcome.)
