Windowstalk, I have a question...

Can you list, in order of importance, what you believe are the most important steps to building traffic to your site?

SEO for goggle?
Affiliate marketing?
Is it blogging on other sites like twitter or facebook and other forums?
Other viral means?

I'm constructing my site, now, and I'd like to hear what your response is in terms of building traffic...

Now that your site is up and you're building traffic, are there any revelations, specific "Oooh Ahhh" moments, you can share in terms of generating revenue?

My point is this. I'm not really looking forward to the prospect of cross marketing with other websites. Do you believe that advertising other sites, goggle adsense, etc, is a necessary strategy of any ecommerce site, regardless of what products or services you sell?
