Default a couple of thoughts

You site looks good. I'm not sure there is quite enough contrast in the text to background area. I might try switching the darker and lighter gray so the lighter one was behind the text but I am not sure.

Two things stand out to me that I would change. First, your menu is titled by specific items instead of categories. Hostgator instead of Hosts, for example. Since you discuss other hosts, not just the one you recommend, it would be better to have categories across the top instead. This also helps to maintain the idea that you are offering reviews rather than selling certain products.

Second, I would change the layout a little to avoid the appearance that this is indeed a site selling certain products. When you have the Hostgator ad taking up the entire visible page when it opens rather than the beginning of a review you will have a difficult time thinking you are doing anything other than trying to sell Hostgator. For a review site of this type I am not sure you can use banner ads across the top of your reviews for the product you rate number one on any of your pages without this problem.

Are Hostgator paying you, seems to be very pro Hostgator

I liked the top despite it being very full, looked different and innovative compared to most sites, quite refreshing actually.

I like the header but the ads on the pages are not suited with the overall appearance of the site.

Default Review

My two cents worth on a quick review...Overall appearance of the site looks good, but not a big fan of gray...just my thang, The black header on top turning to gray on bottom is OK though.

As for the links a bit too complicated..I would try to shorten them up a bit...Same with reviews...If your reviewing several sites, make a general link...Hosting Reviews...Then list Host Gator and Start Logic.

A major distraction for me is the bright orange text on the gray backgound...I would try something a bit more muted...Perhaps white or stay make the major text headings bold black and the other text standard black...

Otherwise, looks pretty good

I like the layout and the ads. Color scheme wise though I can't say im fond of the multigrey approach. May make it too hard to read a long article like the one posted for some people.
