Nice choice of design. I think it fits your topic very well. The only thing that sticks out is the text on some of the pages (monitor for instance) is very small. Other than that, after you add images you'll be looking good.

I like the colour, design and layout.

What I recommend: images and a consistent font size for all your pages

The site seems very good and useful. To promote, what you could do is form partnerships with other, similar sites. For examples, add a "links" section to your site and then get into contact with other webmasters. Ask them to put a link for your site on their website and you'll do the same for them.
The more quality links you form like this, the better you search engine ranking will become.

That's just one idea, there's plenty more. Check out Lisa's website for more tips

I like your template and design. But there is a lot of empty space on the right hand side. You need to work on your navigation. You can also include one more side bar at the right hand side.

Default A few ideas

There are several areas that do need attention.

One: the navigation is impressive in having some visual affect when you mouseover, but the impression is not altogether positive. Try highlighting one before reading it and see how hard it is to read them.

Many people put the mouse over each item and run it down the navigation as they read. They would have a very difficult time reading this navigation. You could probably have a similar effect if it were not so strong a change.

Second: Your text is very gray looking. It needs to be broken up with subtitles, bolding key phrases and emphasizing others with italics. You can also use techniques like call out boxes or images of course.

Third: You need to do some important, but not too difficult, work on your code. The paragraph code will separate paragraphs but a lot of yours run together because the code placement is incorrect or tags are missing. Actually, you have a lot of closing tags for elements that are not open. These errors can cause a lot of unpredictable errors.

Hello Craig,

I see your other site is on beautiful Victoria, Canada. I too am fortunate enough to live in Victoria.

As for your site you are asking to be reviewed, I like the niche of your site. Good job on grabbing the domain name computerfacts.com as well!

Your site has a lot of content, which is really nice to see. However, I think the text needs to be broken up with important text highlighted with bold text and/or italics.

Some images, like you have done so well with your other site, would be nice as well.

I noticed that the font size is quite a bit smaller on some pages, such as your Antivirus software page, which I found too small to read. If I were you, I'd increase the font size on all your pages to be the same as your Home page.

Also, the spacing between paragraphs needs to be consistent. Between some of your paragraphs you have no space, while on others you have one space.

It would be great if you turned your external links to hyperlinks that the reader can click on to visit the link.

I haven't read all your content by any means, but you do have some typographical errors. For example, the first paragraph of "The Laptop Computer" says:

The laptop computer, also known as a notebook computer, is a small designed to be portable.

You forgot to put computer after small.

The first paragraph on this page than goes on to say:

A laptop integrates all of the of a , including a , a , a pointing device (it often has a rectangular area for moving the pointer around the screen.

A what?

Anyways, I hope that I've been of some help to you. With some work, I think you'll have an excellent website.

Chris H.

I really like your site, I dont know a lot about computers so I will be checking back there often.

I was just wondering is there a section on computer maintenance like freeing up space on the hard drive to make it run faster or anything? as someone who is still learning about my computer, those are the kinds of things that I tend to look up

best of luck with it

ps my sister just bought a computer I will be sending her your way
