Default Made changes, Check it out now.

I have made changes and actually gone LIVE with this site. I found out how to link to paypal YES.. so if anyone else runs into this problem, let me know, it was really easy. I created a header (the owner of the site created it). I took the advice I got before about moving the products tab to the end but the site owner didn't like the idea so we left events on the end. Let me know what you guys think now.

thanks!

I tried the Add to Cart links and it takes me straight to PayPal as though it were a Buy Now button. Edit: oh, no it doesn't - I am used to seeing those carts open in a smaller window, so ignore that...

Also, the yahoo email address at PayPal would stop me in my tracks if I had started to buy something. Can you not have sales at yourdomain dot com

Use your graphics editor to create an image of your email address and use that instead of actually putting your address on the page - you'll spend your life trawling through spam to find your order emails.

And a guestbook might not be the best idea on a site selling goods like that - I want to know you're a reputable dealer and that gives it a personal site feeling, which you definitely don't want. And I'm not at all suggesting that you're not, by the way, I am talking as a potential customer wanting to buy that type of product, and I doubt there are many such stores with a guestbook.

Perhaps if you renamed it to 'feedback' then it would be OK, but in any event, Click here to sign our <link>guestbook</link> would be better as <link>We welcome your comments and feedback</link>, or whatever.

Thanks for the feedback Alan. I agree with you on the yahoo email address and addressed this with the owner of the site and she wanted to keep the yahoo. I will show her your comment and maybe she will change her mind.
Thanks for the advice about the email image, that is a great idea. I think I will make that change.

As for the guestbook. She really wanted to have one on there. I think your idea of changing it to feedback instead of guestbook is a great one. I think I will make that change too.

thanks for the great feedback.
Thanks.

I would strongly urge you to encourage a change of email address to match the domain, though - it's a business so you need to do everything you can to prevent people thinking they might lose their money. The site is offering some decent looking products so it would be a shame to lose sales over a minor thing.

Setting one up at the hosting account is easy and you can then just add it as a secondary email address at PayPal in the same account.
