Default Please Review My Site

This site is 2 years old. Please look: Old Site - click here! I am revamping it and could use some input. Here's the partially completed new site New Site Here!

Thanks in advance for your input. BTW, the old site is responsible for a peak of over $12,000/month as it is.

and i don't think that there is any difference between them

The old site is a custom installation of osCommerce, hard to maintain. The new one is CubeCart, supposedly easier but has way fewer options which may eventually be a problem. Thanks for looking. BTW, which color do you like better?

I think that your old site is better. I am talking about over all website.
maybe it is because your new site does not have any product, and your old site have lot of products and images.
plus I wanna say that I have used OsCommerce my self and I think it is good and not hard to understand. Once you understand the things then it is very easy. I haven't used the new one. Is it free?

CubeCart is free if you want their links all over the place. I paid the $69 fee.

but I think it is easy to remove the images.
you just need to change the files. It will take some time. But you can save the money

Just didn't have the time for it. You need to prioritize sometimes, plus I like to support the guys who write software I use.

tommygadget, i think your websites are more or less the same. But one thing you might want to take note of is that your webstie takes time to load. Your visitors probably would not like to wait for your site to load(unless they are long-time customers or fans). you might want to improve on that

The new site is much easier on the eye. I don't like to spend too much time looking at bright/hot oranges & reds, but I do like the more uniform layout of your old site.

TI-99/4A, i wish i could suggest you an shopping application but i don't know of any except oscommerce. Hopefully others can suggest some open source application we haven't heard of.

thou i did a search for "shopping apps" at sourceforge and brought me these results
http://sourceforge.net/search/?type_...words=shopping

SourgeForge is an open repository of open source software built by developers. Most software are license under GPL, meaning you can download the software for free and modify it as needed.
