Default tell me what you think

I have been on this site quietly for quite some time and now I am ready to start babbliing! I am tring to redesign a site for a friend here is the link. www.ncstudio925.com/newsite tell me what you guys think. The next step is to get the products linked to paypal or add some type of shopping cart. I have no idea on how to do this so any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Great site Lisa!

Nice looking site.

A few things:

1. I would move your products link more to the right in the menu to draw more attention to it. I had trouble finding it the first time I viewed the site.

2. If possible, you should make the thumbnails clickable to display a larger image of the products. Visitors may like a larger vies of the product.

I'm not sure about shopping carts, but I think PayPal has a solution that can help you.

thanks techieGuy, I thought about moving the products button to the right and you just confirmed it form me. Remember this is still a work in progress. The clickable buttons is a good idea, I was thinking that once I get the shopping cart or whatever solution in place then there would be a button to click for the products buy now or more info ect... Thanks for the feedback.

Anyone else

I agree with TG...and his recommendation about Pay Pal is my recommendation as well. It is a simple process and is great for getting your product up fro sale quickly. Later on when you have a ton of sales you may want to look into a shopping cart script that has more features, but for now, keep your life simple.

My one critique of the site is that it doesn't say "Jewelry" site to me. The colors are too bright and the logo-header doesn't do it for me at all. If there could be something more visual right away that say this is a jewelry site I think it would work a lot better. Other than that, all is cool. I like the events page being a way to promote your community... Take care and all the best.

Thanks jazzguy, I agree with you on the logo, that will change, the image that is there now is just a place holder until I can come up with a better design. I am graphically challenged so if anyone has suggestions or wants to send me a logo, that would be great. As far as the site not saying jewelry, i agree with that too, it is a little too boxy and needs to be a little more feminine. I took the colors from her original site that she made in publisher. She wants to add so shapes, circles etc, so I think I will replace the background with something to that effect. thanks for the input.

As for paypal, I have been looking for info on this (how to set it up and link it etc), does anyone have any links on how to get this setup?

Default radius corners

Personally, I find that a even a little bit of radius corners on the thumbnails make it look so much better. But the square images does go with the navigation menu.

Nice website by the way.
