Default My other Site

Hey all DaddyOfTwoBoys again, I have another site I would like an opinion on, this one I made recently for my wife again, its for her cheerleading team she coaches. Its not finshed yet, I havnt been able to make any cutom images for it yet but I am more or less trying to find out how to layout my cheerleadingcanada site and I was wondering how this looks as a similar template for it only lighter

the one thing i know you will pick up on is the intigrated forum, its not the same style, I havnt had tiome yet to figure that kink out

Default Good start!

It looks great! I like the 3-column layout. The only recommendation I have is to change the color scheme. It's really hard on the eyes. The text doesn't stand out enough from the background and the red is really hard to read.

Since it's a cheerleading site, could you go with a fun color palette, something bright and cheery?

You're off to a great start!

I agree with NewMama, it's a little hard on the eyes.
This could just be my personal taste but I think darker colors are better for manly sites while soft colors do better for sites targeting a female audience. If you want to browse through some amazing color schemes, check out Adobe's Kuler.

I wish I had known about Kuler when designing my sites. I suck when it comes to colour schemes.
