it's awesome. I love the user friendly navigation.

But some things I'd point out are:

Lose the marquee, it's a distraction and hard to read.

Maybe change the content background a little, it's sort of hard to read blue text on blue background.

Other than that, great job!

Very cool site. Love the colors and the feel of it. I agree with gigababbler. The marquee sort of dates your site a bit. I would also bump up the font a size on your links across the top.

Nice site. I agree with the blue font being hard to read with the blue background.

I would lose the marquee, and just make it static text. With regards to the navigation links at the top, I would increase the font size (as Lisa mentioned), and maybe change the look when the mouse is over a link, such as changing the font color or showing an underline.

On the About page, I would shrink the size of the picture as it is rather large (640KB).

Ensure that your internal links open in the same window. For example, when I clicked on spaservices (spelling mistake?) at the top, a new window opened.

Check to ensure that all your pages have descriptive titles. The products page has "New Page 1" as its title.

Also, try to keep your font the same colour on all your pages. This helps to create uniformity within your site.

Sorry, I went on a roll with regards to this review.

Default A couple of additional points

I agree generally with the previous comments.

Additionally:

The two rows of your top navigation are spaced too far apart.

The reading difficulty with the font and blue background is primarily in the darker areas. You could probably keep a similar color set by making the background quite light.

Default review site please

Thanks for all of the comments.

1. I just put the pic up today, this morning. it was the only one i had available. i tried to make it smaller, but the smaller i shrink it, it looks crazy, even more distorted. will have to figure something out, because i agree, i knew it was too big. .
Ok, i made the pic smaller, just chopping it. the pic on my computer is more clearer than this, i guess it needs to be smaller before i try to upload, but don't know how to do that.

2. i knew i needed to make the font same color all over, to maybe black, for uniformity. I just like that blue. will it be too pitiful if it's blue on first page, but black everywhere else?

i wish u guys could've seen site, before now, to see all work i've been doing in last coupla weeks, whew!

3. Check to ensure that all your pages have descriptive titles. The products page has "New Page 1" as its title. (I had noticed this before, but don't' understand why this came out like this and the others where correct, i will try to fix it though, somehow)

4. i will definitely increase the font size. (done) it was on 8 i put it on 10, i think i would prefer 9,but there isn't one.

5. The marquee sort of dates your site a bit. Lose the marquee, it's a distraction and hard to read. (i will definitely do this) Done, deleted it.

6. The two rows of your top navigation are spaced too far apart. (not sure i understand this)

7. and maybe change the look when the mouse is over a link, such as changing the font color or showing an underline. (will do this tomorrow, have to give it thought, look up how. i use frontpage, but i can usually find the answer somewhere)

8. Ensure that your internal links open in the same window. For example, when I clicked on spaservices (spelling mistake?) at the top, a new window opened. I couldn't find this problem

i have a lot of work to do tomorrow, whew! i do sooooo appreciate the comments.

thanks a zillion

Default Followup

By space between the navigation rows I am simply referring to the fact that you have two rows of navigation and there is a lot of space between the two rows. They should be much closer together in my opinion.

To change the size of your pictures you need to use a graphics program. I use Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 which is very good and a lot less than the Photoshop many use. There is a free program called IrfanView that is used by many people for resizing. Any graphics program will have a "resize" command. You need to change sizes that way to avoid problems (or at least try to).

Even changing the text color to black doesn't fix the problem. It is the background at fault. I suppose someone thinks they are doing some fancy gradient work or whatever but the darker areas are never going to work well. I would just change out the whole background image for a light blue that goes well with your blue text. The blue color scheme is good.

These little fixes can be frustrating and slow work sometimes but each one you fix makes your site look better. Enjoy the learning and feel good about the progress you make as you go along.

By footer, do you mean very bottom, copyrights etc?

I agree, anything worth having, is worth working for.

I appreciate the comments guys, i have changed most of the suggestions, some are going to take me more time. i still need to change the blue background, but i haven't been successful as of yet.

i will get there

Hi khawk

In addition to what everyone else's comments...

I think you should update your main navigation to have some sort of action when a user hovers over a link.

As a general rule, links should be easily identifiable as just that, a link. Most users are used to links being either underlined by default or for the link to underline upon hovering over with your mouse.

Just a thought. Other than the previously mentioned comments, it looks really good. Great job!
