I don't use Blogger anymore so someone may have to chime in. But I believe there is a way to create categories for your posts right? (I think it's done with the tags) I realize your blog is very new but as you build content it may be helpful to add categories. Since it appears your blog is going to focus on dinner recipes you may have categories for "Quick Meals", "Meats", "Pastas", etc. to make it easy for your readers to find what they're looking for.
Another thing I noticed is that your first post is a "getting started" type of post. One issue with blogs is that this post is going to get buried as you continue to add more posts. In other words, be careful about writing chronological step by step instructions with blogs because older posts eventually fall off the radar so it's important to make important posts static so people can find them later. You can't assume that everyone is going to go back to your June 21st post to read the first step about cookware. As your blog grows, people tend to read more current posts and may not get to the older ones.
That's one disadvantage to using a blog in this manner, but that doesn't mean you can't overcome that. You may want to create another widget on your blog for more important posts such as this so they don't get buried. Again I'm not 100% sure how Blogger works when it comes to adding static links but you may want to create a static section/widget under your About Me area that links to important posts such as this. That way the link will always be visible since it seems like it's pretty important.
You're off to a good start. It's sort of hard to critique your blog fully because you have very little content. But just keep building and definitely add categories to help your visitors find information.
Good luck!
