Default Site for Review

Could you guys please review my website?

The website is not the most decorative, it's mainly plain white. This is both because I wanted to focus on my content and my template kept stressing me out.

I have split up my content into subdomains, which act as different websites. This is because I had already written articles on a range of subjects, and I didn't want to get rid of my content, so I gave them their own subdomains . They can all function as their own niche site.

Default A few thoughts

Since subdomains are indeed treated as separate domains, and in view of the wide range of topics, I think I would change up my terminology just a bit. I would describe this page (or site) as a home base pointing to your various "sites" on different topics. I would put your name and picture up, indicate your various interests as you have, and identify them as sites rather than sections.

In listing these various sites, I would emphasize them a little more, perhaps by making the links larger and maybe putting a short paragraph under each one to describe its content.

As I say, just a few thoughts. You might think this is a good way to go or not. It's what I would do. Others might have something different to say about it.

Yeah I'm not sure the wide varieties of topics is going to work well... especially when it comes to search engine optimization. If you want to create niche sites, that's fine but I wouldn't interlink them all together because it dilutes your content. I would just promote these all as standalone sites rather than creating a homepage with links to a bunch of different subdomains.

So you have information about chess, creating websites, star wars, real estate, and more. I have a couple ideas that would help you focus your site more into an area that will draw attention into it more (all related to Star Wars and real estate since you seem to like that):

Suggestion 1:

Make a star wars chess website. Storm Troopers are pawns for the black team, rebel troops for the white team. Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader are king and queen for black. Yoda and Luke are king and queen for white.

You can be creative to fill in the other pieces with other Jedi, bounty hunters, or creatures if you'd like. This would draw in star wars fans who like chess and you could feed off of this with more interesting star wars parallels into whatever you can think of.

Suggestion 2:

Star Wars memory card game, since I see you have poker as one of the things you talk about. Match famous characters such as Emperor, Vader, Yoda, Luke, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Darth Maul, Jar-Jar Binks, etc... That would be interesting.

Suggestion 3:

Full out focus on real estate. Give information for people that have heard you can make good money from it, but haven't gotten the courage to take the first step to do it. Talk about driving around looking at properties, networking and making connections, and simply taking an hour each day to work on it. Be creative and stand out

Hope this helps!

the shadow on the top are not connecting, the box is too close to the text and your user agreement is too small
