Default Two Sites :)

Hey all,

I finally put together a site to see if I could succeed with keyword sniping. I've never tried it before. It's about the ipod, and can be found by clicking here: who invented the ipod.

I also totally redid my main website, and am moving from fairly deep philosophy to internet marketing/business ideas. www.ShaunConnell.com. I want to keep the "philosophy" feel for differentiation purposes.

Thoughts? Critiques? Thanks!

Hey Shaun,

Your iPod site has great potential and I like how you addressed some facts people may not know. I know it's new and you're probably still adding content, but I would definitely add more information about other tips and tricks for using the iPod specifically.

As an iPod user myself, the only feature I really use is my playlist and I know there's tons of things you can do but I never explore them. One example is the search feature. My friend didn't even know you could search by letter so she would always manually scroll and if you have thousands of songs that takes forever to get to the latter letters of the alphabet when you're searching for songs that are not in a playlist.

If you could take the "iPod for dummies" route and talk about even more of the basic things, you could capitalize on the audience who get iPods as presents yet they don't know how to turn on their computer. LOL

I would change your heading of "Pages" to something like "Menu" or something else. Pages sounds to generic.

You also have "Who invented the iPod" listed twice and it goes to two different articles. That's a bit confusing.

I'm headed out and didn't get a chance to look at your other site. If I get a chance, I'll come back and look at that one too.

Ah, you're absolutely right on all accounts. As of last night, I saw that I got to the first page of google for the keyword, so it looks like this is going to work out. I'll probably end up implementing all of your ideas, like usual. ;-)

If I end up generating enough revenue (10+ bucks per day) I'll probably add an iPod Faq website.

And yes my content is very low right now. :P I'm still putting it together, and researching the topic. It's actually pretty interesting, given that there's no real /one/ inventor.

::goes back to work::
