Maybe if you could fade out the background a little bit. All the green circles was kinda making me crazy LOL and I think distracted me a bit from your body.

Also for your testimonials... Does the average person know what Digital Point is? As a Webmaster, I'm certainly familiar with them but what about your average customer? I guess it depends on where you'll be promoting your site. So I'm wondering if putting they are a digital point member adds anything to them. Also the fact that every single review is from the same place also makes it look sketchy.

To me it would look better if you put their website address for at least some of the testimonials. And I'm trying to put myself in the shoes of someone who has just found your site by typing "image hosting" who may be interested in your product.

I would be wondering about the significance of the Digital Point Member tags.

These days if I don't see an email address or website address then I assume the writer made up the testimonial. Maybe I'm just too skeptical. As I said, I'm familiar with DP so yes, I'm sure you did get those from other members there, but will the average person understand that?

Other than that, very clean and neat. Nice job.

It does to me too. Every testimonial from Digital Point is a suspicious too.

The logo is overpowering so that it makes it hard to focus.

As a typical teenage web surfer, to be honest, I wouldn't trust your site.

You keep babbling about how I could earn thousands of dollars by paying you 10 bucks.

Now give me one good reason why I should trust you and that this whole thing isn't a scam like the thousands out there?

You should work on building trust with your visitors.

Sad to say but I'd have to agree with the rest. It really does look like a scam for a few reasons. The site looks like most other spam pages out there that offer secret ways to make money - a simple centered layout with no navigation just the information that's enough to get you to pay money.

The background is way too distractive and I happen to be one of those who've heard of DigitalPoint but isn't sure what it is.

Another thing, it's quite ironic that all your "reviews" are only from the DigitalPoint forums. Are they even real?

If it aint a scam then you've not done a good job to make it clear that you are serious - that's all I'm trying to say.

jolly_web,

I hope you take the comments listed here so far as constructive.

Here are my thoughts:

1. I am probably ignorant about this, but I don't even know what image hosting is. Is it what it sounds like? You host images that others can use? Maybe a description of what it is, how it works, and why it would work better than what someone is already trying to make money with his/her website would be helpful.

2. The testimonials. Unfortunately, they all seem to have many syntax, spelling, or other errors that, in my opinion, eat at their credibility.

3. One of the reviewer gives it 9/10. Another gives it 5/5. Lack of consistency makes it seem sketchy. Did you solicit these reviews? If so, it may be helpful if you show links in the DP forum showing that.

4. I think what makes suspicious is the use of certain keywords, like "secret way" and "generate a ton of money" etc.

5. This is more a general point and it relates to my comment #1. Any time you are selling something, you have to consider the alternatives/options that a potential customer would have...
a) they could buy your service
b) they could buy your competitor's, or
c) (very often the most ignored) they could just do nothing about it. You have to help your customer overcome that and show them that he/she needs your product, must have it, and if he/she doesn't, he/she will miss out... of course it is crucial to do it genuinely (i.e. without hype).

Sorry I rambled, but hope this helps.

Sherif

Looks like a standard one page sales ad without all the needed info.

Does your product include a script to run a site?

Does image hosting make money by selling the image hosting itself, or ads on your image hosting site?

Hosting?

And I would not make it a selling point that the ebook is only 12 pages long, people like to get a lot for what they pay, 12 pages can't be a whole lot.

The design for the most part is fine but you need to work on the content.
