Wow! I'm not usually a fan of busy backgrounds but this actually works for your site and its theme. I'm glad you made the font large and with a good contrasting color so your background doesn't overpower it. I like the site and it's hard to find much negative with it. I didn't check it in IE but it looks great in Firefox.

I checked it in IE and it's great!! You took a leap of faith with the black background but it works perfectly for your subject!
