Just about 30 days into it...
Hi there,
Hope everyone is well
I have a little favor to ask... Feedback is King, right? I would truly appreciate any thoughts and comments on my site to-date, as I do not want to get to much further into Tier-2/Tier-3's if I am going about it all wrong.
I believe that I am on the right track...any helpful pointers will do!
Thanks in advance,
|

Hi Kerry,
I think your website concept, design, and overall look is great.
The only thing I noticed is the content of the homepage is centered, but all the other pages are adjusted to the left. For some reason, I don't like centered content, but maybe that's just me
Everything else looks great
Great Job!

Thanks!
Thanks for the note
I am still experimenting with formating so this is great feedback- do anyone else find a better user experience with "centered"?

I agree with Sherif. Left-aligned always looks more professional to me. Good job on everything else though!

Thanks for the tips
Thank you for the tip Lisa! In your opinion, when faced with situations such as this- would you started tweeking/perfecting the look of your site as you go along (such as spending time to format things properly-LOL) or just keep building content so the engines start to pick me up sooner then later?

Actually I would recommend both! This is an ongoing process.

Point well taken! Tonight I made some changes and added a new page as well. The block by block editor (SBI) has its "limitations" though, as I am not as proficient in HTML as I would like to be...
I can see how I will quickly I will grow impatient and want to graduate to "big girl" software to make my own pages. Any thoughts on the different applications out there?
Thanks in advance,

I would definitely recommend Dreamweaver. That's what I used to redesign my SBI! site. It's pricey but well worth the time to learn. I bought Dreamweaver for Dummies to help me out. LOL

Kerry,
Take your time with learning html/Dreamweaver, because your SBI site looks great

Thanks Sherif,
Let me tell you between a full time career and a 5 yr old- staying up to 2am each night working my positive energy on this site is rough...LOL! Do all webmasters have bags under their eyes?
In any case, I want to be able to produce at least 2 pages a day over next 30 days- so feel free to check it out every so often and see if I am making any big bobos!
Thanks again!

In my experience, yes... bags under the eyes are quite common I have heavily invested in the eye cream industry (lol).

It's really awesome to have a goal like that. If you stick to that goal, and also spend some time marketing/networking your site, your site will be a house-hold name in no time! Keep up the great work!

Ha ha...I decided to give myself tomorrow off...so I created 6 new pages today and started a blog.
I'm crazy-LOL!
Tell you one thing, I absolutely love this process (as exhausted as I am) and being a persistent Scorpio- I suspect that this may very well be my calling!
Only time will tell

I signed up to adsense so I don't know if there is another way to get the Google search bar.
Pilates - don't be silly - you don't have time!! Just kidding.
My left eye is always twitching these days I have never stared at a computer
so much in my life.
