My name is Wes Abrams. I created the site ToonLifeOnline.com. I don't have any web design experience besides what I read on the internet and stuff. I've used that knowledge to create this animation site. If anyone could check it out and give me some advice on how I could make it better or what your opinion of it is that would be great.

Wow! I was impressed with your work. Design is not my strength (yet) but I can say you have great balance in your layout, your colors have a great combination with good contrast and brightness (more than would be good for some subjects but great for a cartoon type site).

I do know a little about coding and I want to congratulate you for the outstanding use of xhtml and css. As soon as I have time I want to study your source a little more and for our other members who are trying to learn how to do their html (or xhtml) and css, please check out this site. Right click on the page somewhere and then click on view source. You will learn a lot here.

I agree nice site. I guess the question we should be asking you is what is the purpose of this site and who are you targeting? I'm assuming toon artists, but specifically what are your goals for the site other than allowing people to share and watch cartoons?

Why not add information for other wanna-be toon artists who want to put their stuff online or what it takes to become a toon artist? What special knowledge do you have about toon artistry can you share to people?

You know your audience probably better than we do so what would they want to learn or see?

I see you have a newsletter signup. What do you plan to do with your newsletter? I would promote that more because collecting email addresses is a great way to start generating traffic and repeat visits IF you have useful info to share.

Nice site there's a lot of cool features on there and the videos are great. However your Revver video takes ages to load when I click on your homepage.

Just a few little notes:

At the bottom of your page your layout is a little confusing and I would personally prefer the introduction paragraph to be visible when I first load the page.

I saw a few grammer mistakes which might need taking a look at on some of your pages and articles.

But apart from that your concept, design and content is great maybe you should get an RSS feed going every time you post a new video.
