Default Website review

Just found this site and have seen some really good feedback from other users. I have been working on a website for sometime and would like some honest feedback on it.

I am targeting customers that are interested in classic cars. The site provides users a way to list their vehicles for sale. I am also writing content that classic car enthuasists will hopefully find interesting.

Curious if the site is intuitive or if it may be difficult for someone to navigate who hasn't used it before. Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob

Very clean design and easy to read. It's great how you have the search box upfront and center because that's probably a popular feature for a site like this.

I'm not a big fan of the bright green links on the white background. Kinda messes with my eyes after a day of staring at my screen. I understand why you chose it. It matches the green in your logo and in the nav but it works better on the black background and not so much on the white IMO.

Oh and your "Car Clubs" link is broken (just in case you didn't know).

Nice job.

Default Excellent

Excellent website clean, crisp and easy to navigate.

You get right to the point. Not alot of advertisment etc...

I am not really a classic car follower but if I was I would register, signup and contact you for further information.

There is one link that is missing: http://www.classiccarandstreet.com/cclubs.asp
I get the classic (no pun intended) "The page cannot be displayed" !

I like your site, it has good content so far but not all the links work such as 'sport cars' or 'coupes' but I'm sure you will be indexing some more classic cars soon.

Your ad positioning is good and a love your homepage as its filled with lots of information visitors want to here when they bring it up on there screen.

You might want to add a few pages about cars such as reccomended cars and review them or something as you have'nt indexed enough cars yet and when you search for different cars it often shows up no results.

But overall great site and design is brilliant keep it up.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will definitely apply some of the suggestions. I have several ideas for some more content. I just haven't flushed out the ideas yet. I had forgotten the car clubs link was not working so I will have to get that taken care of.

I am thinking about trying to sell ad space specifically at the top of the home page and then on each page that displays with a car ad. Have any of you had any success with selling ad space on your sites. If so do you have any suggestions. Should you use one of the ad services?

Thanks...
