Default My Latest Redesign!

SHAREASTAGE.SITE.IO

After getting frustrated with using tables to organize ALL of my data, I finally realized that Dreamweaver has website templates that allow you to split up your page into header, footer, side bars, and content allowing me to customize all of these different section through the use of cascading style sheets. So I am extremely happy this worked out.

I also created a brand new banner, with various layers, to get a colorful and eye catching appeal (I probably won't change it for awhile, but suggestions are welcome).

I decided that the navigation system would be most easily accessible if it were all displayed in a list on the side, and I created a blog that three authors update regularly, and displayed it in an IFRAME that allows the viewer to scroll down the blog without losing the navigation.

I am currently raising enough money (I don't want to take out of my college account), to sign up for a monthly account with HOSTGATOR. I guess its 8.75 a month, plus 15 dollars a year for the domain name. Let me know what you think of my site and how I can improve it!

What a cool header! It really fits for the type of site you're doing.

One thing I did notice is that on some pages your black sidebar doesn't go all the way down. I think it would look better if that was consistent on every page. But that's such a small thing.

Hey your site makes me want to go get a few video games. LOL Brings back memories. I grew up with Mario.

haha, thanks! Yeah, I've been having problems with the consistency of the black bars. I can bring them down as far as I want, but I can't get them to match each other. So one will be touching the footer, and then other will have a slight gap in between - and if I try to fix that gap it messes up the other bar, so it's kind of frustrating. I'll bring them all down as far as I can just so they look a little bit consistent. Thanks for your help!

Well one thing that could help.
You already have a iframe so why not just make ever like in the navigation and stuff like that link to the iframe. If you do not know how to do that just do this.

In your iframe code put name="namehere"

Then in the link
Code:
<a target="iframe_name" href="http://firephoenix.uni.cc">Link<a>
Hope that helps

I just think it would be easier for veiwers to navigate around your site

EDIT:If you do that you might want to make your iframe a little bigger.

I love your site its a lot better than your old one, its a lot more structured the banner is good.

However I dislike the hyperlinks colour I think you need to blend it a little more. I dislike the integrated blog and the scrolling down news column but then again I like it as I can see the rest of the page. I have really mixed feelings but it is a huge improvement from your old site.

Good job and keep it up.
