Rob, very cool looking blog ya got there! Break up those paragraphs though because your content looks overwhelming. LOL Other than that, it's very nice.

Your blog looks great.

In thing I would look into doing is to convert your permanent link to each blog into an HTML page to make it more search engine friendly.

And do you think I should add another ad unit maybe into my posts try embedding it?

Yeah good idea Foong, I've created a gallery before but im not sure if they have a gallery plug-in for Word press il check! I haven't really explored fully yet but im getting that hang of WordPress its so clean and nice to use im so glad I downloaded rather than used there hosting.

Lisa: How can i create a sub domain on my Godaddy.com account you got any ideas? As i see you've put your blog on one, heres what my hosting account shows when i go on there sub-domain creator.

As you can I've tried creating three sub domains of my three domains which are:

http://www.hamster-palace.com/blog/ - Wordpress Blog (redirects to homepage!

http://www.hamster-palace.com/forum/ - Vbulletin Board (internal error)

http://www.hamster-palace.com/forums/ - Invision Power Board (which works and i set it up exactly the same way as the others.)

I would like them to be:

http://blog.hamster-palace.com/
http://forum.hamster-palace.com/

And still those links don't work! Argh thanks for your help!

Rob,

I don't use Goaddy so the setup may be a little different than mine so let me see if I can help.

When you FTP up to your site and look at your folders, does GoDaddy place the subdomain folders in a different location on your server?

For my hostgator account, my blog subdomain is located off my root and in the same place as all my other content folders but I know some hosts treat them and locate them differently.

You need to find where they folder is located an upload your content to that particular folder. And since you already have content in hamster-palace.com/forum, for example you may have to move all that content for forum.hamster-palace.com to work.

With me, I didn't have anything at 2createawebsite.com/blog so I didn't have to move anything. I just installed my WordPress blog in my newly created "blog" folder that hostgator setup as my subdomain.

I'm not much help. Maybe someone else who uses GoDaddy can offer some better assistance. Worst case, you can email GoDaddy.

I'm thinking the reason the subdomain is redirecting to your homepage is because you don't have any content in that subdomain folder yet. So you need to find out how to populate that folder.

I couldn't actually find the folders you mentioned, however I know what your talking about my old host gave me access to folders above my very root folders if I remember correctly they were something like:

"html/var/www/"

Then after that it was the root folder what you uploaded your website, I guess I'm going to have to email them there actually not to bad at giving me responses however sometimes they talk like a robot

Right. Some hosts require you to store you subdomain folders higher than the root folder. (I think Powweb does that.) Hostgator has you store them at the root with all the rest of my content folders. So as you said, it's probably best to just ask because it varies from host to host.

Ok my blog is set-up on both sub domain and directory, thanks lisa.

http://blog.hamster-palace.com

http://www.hamster-palace.com/blog/ (however this just redirects to the first url)

Godaddy did reply back to me saying that the index.php was redirecting it to the homepage it took me a while to figure out why it was doing that found it in the end.

You have to go into:

Options > General Options > Blog address URL

Then alter to your preference.

Got accepted into Blog Rush the first time I didn't read there terms Oh and lisa you know you mentioned about my writing being very blocky and no spaces, there seemed to be a problem with my Wordpress must be a glitch/bug but every time I put a break or space into my posts it doesn't recognize it.

I found two solutions either disable the default editor and use the code function and add

<p> (at the start of your paragraph)

</p> (at the end of your paragraph)

Or use Blogdesk or something similar which posts from your desktop (very cool utility)

http://www.blogdesk.org/

I actually thought Wordpress was perfect and would have no issues I guess I was wrong; I can't help but adore it though

Really? Usually when I hit a hard return that gives me the space between my paragraphs and I'm using the default editor. Hmmmm...
