Default Can you rate my site please?

http://shareastage.site.io

I know the first problem is that it is using a free website host. I'm just afraid to spend money on it without first making a little. You'll notice I'm trying to get adsense to work, but so far I've made $0.00. Any suggestions on how to make it better.

The website itself is on a popular videogame that hasn't been released, yet. I plan on adding a blog on the front page that will be constantly updated, plus hosting files and stuff they can download for the game.

It seems like a bread winner, just wait til the gamers do a lil more searchin' and you'll be all good. Especially since its not out yet. Yea, you just wait.

I really like your niche (topic) I checked similar sites and there's not many, Theres too many ad blocks, and you want to be getting solid traffic before you even place one adsense unit on there, I'd say about 25 - 50 before you really grip onto advertising, and your on a free host too which will destroy your search engine ranking so your going to have to work hard so try going on the Nintendo forums

http://forums.nintendo.com/

And just keep adding your sig and promoting your site they have different sections for different games, and people are always willing to take a look at least who knows. The bricks are really good to, very good idea for a background i can remember the days when i used to play Super Smash Bro's great game, have you ever thought of writing reviews of specific games on the different consoles etc, and then perhaps use Amazon.co.uk ads to promote someone else's products such as a Mario game on DS for example.

So I should get the traffic before the ads? Also, if I were to get traffic with this site and then upgrade it to something like www.shareastage.com would that destroy my traffic?

You should defnitely build up your traffic base first before placing adsense. Without the traffic you won't get any clicks.

I would also look into getting a domain name. This way if you do switch hosts, you can just point your domain name to your new host and not lose any traffic.

Yeah good plan. Now what do you think of 2ip.com as a host? I can upgrade it to a good domain name and a non-free account. Is it a well known website host?

Go for Godaddy.com a lot easier and they have a quite simple control panel to use and support line i get a reply in about 3 hours which suits me fine and its not expensive either so its a good enough host all around.

Your site seems to be really successful. I notice a bit of people in the chatbox, and forum. Don't worry, SSBB isn't even out yet so you're just preparing now. When it does come out, your site will have a head start and business will boom.
