Default Please review my "plain jane" website design.

Hi everyone. I thought I'd get your opinions in here because you seem like a thoughtful, intelligent bunch. I actually have 2 sites that I need reviewed but I'll post them separately. I say this because I don't want to look like I'm hogging the site review forum, I just recently re designed both of them.

OK, the 1st one is LetsStartEarning.com. This has a very plain design but I liked that about it. I'm making a lot of videos these days so I didn't want to bog down the load time with graphics.

Let me know what you think.

I like the fact that It already has a decent amount of content. Two questions- Are you selling an e-book? Is that you on the front page?

Your profile picture should be on the right hand side, your ads need to be more fitted into your page, and when i clicked on your content i had a very anoying floating newsletter box which was so anoying.

Apart from that i like it its simple easy and readable keep it up

Oh right. I have to agree with Rob. I find those floating subscriber boxes annoying too.

They are kind of annoying, I guess. But they can be closed and they seem to work for list-building purposes. That is the objective that I need to focus on the most at this point.

No, I'm not selling an e-book and yes that's my picture.

I have recommendations for several products throughout my content according to what the topic is.

It wouldn't be annoying if there was only one but on FF it shows one static one floating around the header and one that floats horizontally across your page and neither I clan click the 'x' on.

If i visited your page and saw that i couldn't read your content because of a flying box i would leave, only cause i was reviewing your site I didn't.

Not bad at all, though I must admit I don't think you should use that picture. You look pissed off (no offense) and who wants to learn things from someone who looks... unaprochable?

Also that BRIGHT BLUE background in the box on the bottom of the page was a bad color choice I do believe.

Otherwise I really like it. I'm a big fan of minimalistic designs.

Agreed wth augnauf- "You looked pissed off in the photo" *winks*
Maybe you think its gonna be a cool picture but those are really a sincere comments from augnauf and me. Nevertheless, the choice is yours.

All the best to you, take care.

P/S- Lisa, Your web is GREAT, I involve a lot wth Cooperate Social Relationship (CSR) and your web had generated something like it as well. Towards a great internetNet community. hmmm.. I suppose.
Lisa, I think, we need to think about something like CSR, in here. Something like this. Just a suggestion. Have a nice day..

Post Hmmm, Yea

I think it was put together ok and full of content but needs a little rethinking on the boxes and the large text by your picture (which should have a smile) is too big.
I don't mean to be too too scrutinizing cuz hey, i don't even have a site up yet.

I also think Profile pictures should be placed just above the nav bar or somewhere similar at the moment its floating also it needs a place!

I actually really like your template too, its very simple and adore those flashy type buttons on blogs when you hover your mouse over it just makes it just a little more noticeable.
