Default Insurance Site my second site

This is my insurance site and my second site my first is chill today a social site. You can find your guaranteed best quotes free by just typing in your zip code. Took me time to find the right affiliate who was willing to pay me a little money. Once my site was up it was reviewed for weeks by them but approved. The site is www.insurancearound.com it ranks on the 2nd page with google under -insurance around- keywords but I just changed the title from "Welcome to insurancearound.com to " Insurance Around - Welcome" like my other site it should boost page IMHO.

By the way google is grabbing keywords inside your site now to rank them something new as of a couple months ago so heads up. You wouldn't even have to have megatags or site name/URL to grab top key words now just the keywords in your site LOL.

I would like some reviews thanks guys/gals.

I have your site websitebabble linked in my links page under web forum thanks heee.

Default A couple of thoughts

Your site actually looks quite good.

However, I think there are some things you still need to work on. The most important is one I suspect you will have at the top of you own list. The content you have is still quite elementary. On each of your five insurance type pages, you need to make the page look more like a list. I don't mean to have it read that way. The way you have it is ok, but you need to develop additional pages with key word links in the text (or even as a list) that explains the area in question. For example, "compare homeowners quotes apples to apples" could be a link to a page explaining just what you need to look for and how to compare one policy to another.

In the way of layout, you have your name on the right with the box under it fading in color to the right. This effectively makes two parts out of the area. I would put the solid blue at the top and fade down so that this whole area looks like one box or tag rather than two.

Finally, the column of you text is a little wide. You could insert a column of adsense ads or something on the right.

Thanks James I am adding the adbrite on the side of the pages tomorrow. I do have link in each page that take you to professional agents to explain each option better if you dont want to do the quick zip code search. Should be in blue but I understand I may try that.

I got rid of the old logo and design and went wit this custom one. Looks great and the slogan is underneath. Tell me your thoughts now?

I looked at your meta and found only title tags. I think you need a full set of tags for each page. I did a reverse search for insurance around and found 0 searches per month. You may rank high for the keyword phrase but what good is it if there is no demand? Actually the ranking you are getting is just for the title. I looked at the density and here is what I found:
Title: 1: 3: 66.7%
Body: 0: 259: 0%
H1/H2/H3: 0: 0: 0%
Links: 0: 23: 0%
Bold: 0: 0: 0%
Meta description: n/a: n/a: n/a
Meta keywords: n/a: n/a: n/a
I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble. I did a review the other day for a guy. His keywords were "compare bookies". I did a rank check and sure enough he was #1 on Google, Yahoo and Bing. I did a reverse search for the term and found 0 searches per month. If you think about it logically, if you were searching for insurance would you type in "insurance around"?

I'm new at this review stuff, so I have 2 points to consider for your insurance quote site:

- The 2 images on the home page are very generic and doesn't speak to your unique message. It would have a greater impact if had a positive or negative or both image relating a quote.

- I see no content answers the question of your visitor as to "Why would I click on or select your quotes?" Why You.

All the best to you.

Looks great, but I think the background color of the text is a little dull.

It's very good-looking. The green, link-enabled words take away from its classiness, though.
