OK, I've installed Firebug. I had Firefox anyway. The first page was easy to change the font but the second page not so much. When I click Inspect Element, something totally different comes up on the bottom and there's nothing that says Font Size. Weird. Also, I change the font style and size but how come it doesn't stay that way? You hit refresh and it goes back to what it was before?

The text has been changed. Apparently all I had to do was go into Appearance, then Editor and then change the CSS code there. No Firebug needed really, at least not yet. I can see how it will be useful though so I definitely thank you for all your help

Using Firebug will let you get the specific part of the stylesheet that you need to change. If you change it within Firebug itself, you're only temporarily changing it to see what it will look like. That's good if you don't know exactly how much larger you want the font, or how much of a top padding, etc.
So yes, you will have to actually change it in the stylesheet through the Wordpress interface.
Firebug will tell you the line number of the file, but Wordpress wont. That's why I also suggested using Notepad++. That program will show the line numbers.
Glad to see you figured out how to modify it. That's a big step!

OK, for newbies like me it's not "change it on the stylesheet in the Wordpress interface". It's "you need to go to your Dashboard and under appearance click Editor. Then, you can change the body text by making the px (pixels) larger". See, a little bit longer sentence buy no technical jargon. lol j/k Mesmer, thanks again.

1. type is to bold
2.Too many banner ads I get it you want people to click on them but too much.
3.get rid of the wordpress in your url thats bad for SEO (you should not have wordpress anywhere on your blog so not to confuse the search bots and to keep the spamers away.
4.Take the login and wordpress.org link off your blog also .
5. Put a opt in box somewhere on your blog the best place is top right to collect emails
so you can send your visitors email later.

OK...
1) Fair enough about the bold, I can figure that one out...I think
2) How many banners is a lot? I only have 4?
3) How do I get rid of the wordpress in my URL? Someone else mentioned that to me in a different forum (sorry Lisa ;-) ) but they weren't sure either
4) I had added the Login part because I couldn't see anywhere else to get in to my admin. Wordpress.org by itself doesn't have a login page like .com does and the rest of it sort of came with it.
5. What's an opt in box?
Sorry if these are basic things but I'm here to learn. Thanks for taking the time pfdesigner

Fundy let me ask I took another look at your blog is wordpres hosting your blog are do you have your own host. If wordpress is hosting then you will not be able to get rid of all the wordpress links.
1. a opt in box is a box where your visitors can leave there name and email you could offer them a free report or news letter for signing up .
You will have to get a aweber or icontact account to me aweber is best .You sign up its $1 for the 1st 30days then $19 a month they will give you the code to put on your blog for your opt in box to catch all your emails to build your list.
2.you have 4 banners yes 2 for pokers stars and 2 for full tilt you only need 1 for each.
3.You should put some links to poker stars and full tilt in you content also so the visitors can click on and you get paid if they join.
4.Also you have the wrong size google ad boxes you have the square size it goes out side of your blog you should be using the skyscraper box 120x 600 , 160x600 or 120x240 they will fit nicey in the space you have.

I want to start making sure I can make a few bucks before I start paying for things like aweber. I'll probably do it for the first month, maybe two anyway just to see
The AdSense box was really starting to piss me off last night. I tried the skyscraper, like you said, and it just came up blank. I even switched the theme for another one I have just to see if it had something to do with it but still nothing. I used the ones you see up there and it worked so I don't know. I was looking at trying to expand those columns wider so it would look like it fit better, if that's possible. I like the idea of the links to Stars and Tilt as well. I'll look into that too

ok if you site is on your own host you can log on to your blog by typing in you site name like this .... www.yousitehere/wp-admin you will see the wordpess logon come up

Wow, that's some sick timing. I was just writing a reply when it popped up on my email that you had replied. The AdSense skyscraper banner is working now, I've dropped down to one add each for PokerStars and Full Tilt, and I found an old email about the wp-admin thing so that's taken care of now too. I haven't done the links as far as Stars and Tilt go in the content (actually was just reading on which codes I'd need etc.) and I took out Bold and replaced it with Normal for the font. WHEW! I think that was everything? lol

Do you play mostly online or live? If you play online, where and what's your screen name? Maybe I'll drop in for a hand or two.
