Knowledge Reactor's Blog - Review
Hey guys!
I just launched my new blog that is actually an extension to my website www.knowledge-reactor.com. The blog address is blog.knowledge-reactor.com.
All comments and suggestions are welcome, good or bad.
Also if you could write your opinion about my first blog post commenting on it's structure, grammar and on the subject (story) itself. You don't have to comment on the blog, I don't want it to look like I'm farming comments.
I've dedicated the last 3-4 months to this project (Knowledge Reactor) so I hope you like it.
Thanks all!

I love it McKnight. It feels like it is part of your main site it doesn't feel like an extenstion. I wish I can achieve that some day. Really nice work!!!! I also like the use of blue. I am a sucker for the right shade of blue lol

Great site!
Terrific site and blog. I didn't see anything to change right off and got too involved reading to look too long. Good information, good writing and a place I will be visiting.
Unfortunately (in response to one blog topic), we all have to write better than Chuck Norris to get an audience. People have a choice about whether to read our stuff. When Chuck Norris say, "Read my blog," they just do it.

Hehehe, I'm happy you like it James. I'll try to keep it high-quality as much as I can. Doing an "AutoCAD 2007 for beginners" at the moment for the main site. As far as the blog is concerned, I'm writing once a week mostly Friday.

Gordon,
I think you should add more tweets to your twitter stream, it looks like something is missing. If you show between 5 - 10 it will look better. You send some pretty awesome tweets, so it's all good.
Other than that you have done a fantastic job and like always I'm giving you a and another

You're probably right. I'm only showing 2 tweets and the tweet-box is as big as 2 x 140 characters so if the tweets are smaller it looks empty-ish.
There is not real point in putting a twitter stream as far as I'm concerned, It's more like a teaser to follow me than something useful because I tweet an average of 10 times per day and not all of them are useful to be displayed on the blog. I will look into it any maybe expand that list. Thanks Ileane!
Also, James, I forgot to ask you in my previous post: Is there anything you would find significantly well written or well designed. In other words, what's your favorite thing on my site/blog?

Gordon,
I actually removed my twitter widget because I just had way too many widgets. I got rid of the blog roll too for the same reason. I put enough links in my posts that I don't think I need to send people to other sites if they aren't mentioned in a post.
One benefit of having the twitter stream is that you save people the time of looking to see what you tweet about after they click your "follow me on twitter" link.
Bottom line, either add more tweets or get rid of it altogether. Make sense?

Yea but people shouldn't judge a twitter account by the last 2 tweets. At least I don't ... I mean, some tweets are better some are less good. I will see about removing the twitter stream when I find something else to put in there instead. Thanks for the reply Ileane, really appreciate it. I think you will looove my upcoming post this week
