BackLinks With SBI Sites

I was reading online about how "backlinks" can improve your rankings. Basically if the referring site has a higher search engine ranking, it will give your website some "juice", when the higher ranked site links back to the lower ranked site.

Is this how it works? If so, is there any reason why we don't create an SBI network of backlinks directory, since SBI'ers have some of the highest ranked sites?

But then I read it will only work if the lessor ranked website does not link back to the higher ranked website.

Is this true? Is any of it true?

Yes. The idea works best when your backlinks are one-way and come from relevant, quality websites. If we just create a network of websites that link to each other then and we would just get ignored by Google. SBI! sites don't just rank high because they are SBI hosted sites. Customers are taught how to create quality website that generate relevant, one-way backlinks automatically (through quality content0. If SBI owners began creating networks and link to each other, that would do no good. It's not what Google is looking for.

The reason they focus on one-way links because it keeps it honest. If a site has a bunch one-way, voluntarily links, it must mean its popular. Anyone can create a network of backlinks and that cheapens the whole linking "system".

Ahh...makes sense. Thanks Lisa. Yeah I should have elaborated more on the SBI sites, thanks for explaining what I should have defined better.

BTW, as I went through the SBI program to push my site LIVE, I really have a better understanding as to how to create better content. I'm glad I decided to go through the Block by Block method as it did teach me something.

Thanks for giving us new guys a chance to particpate in your Website Babble. Your site really has helped me to keep level headed. I almost got lured into other "quick" or "easy" internet programs, (which may be legit), but it sounded to good to be true. I almost sold my SBI, but you kept me on track.

I was going back and forth on your site to make sure I have a firm grasp on the reality of how to make money online. It's like you and the others post here, it's about giving something of value and not always about the quick buck.

I'd love to leave a network of my websites to my kids, it could be a part of my legacy. In order to do that I want to build something of good quality and reputation.

Great info Lisa I think I am falling for you cant wait to post me site on here I built the whole thing today I have 5 different word scrips going weeee... Need help posting backlinks also could you go step by step how to do that here in this thread?
