Default As I am inching closer to SBI.....

I have yet another questions I do not have photoshop. With the site I want to build, I want to be able to add pictures to give the site a little flavor. Do I have to buy photoshop or are there less expensive avenues that will allow me to scan or use pictures from my digital camera and upload them to my site?

If there are less expensive avenues, what are they?

Photoshop doesnt do either. It doesnt scan or upload photos. Photoshop just edits them for your liking.

a free alternative to photoshop is GIMP. Many say that once you learn it, it is as powerful as photoshop, I never got a hang of it though.. Photoshop > All for me.

To add pictures to your SBI! site you simply upload them from your PC to SBI!'s template using a basic upload form. So you do not need PhotoShop for that as MC said, unless you want to make edits (cut, crop, darken, lighten, airbrush, etc.) But you don't even have to use Photoshop for that. There are much cheaper graphic programs for making photo edits.

Thanks for the replies.

Lisa, what other software would you suggest? I checked out Gimp and was totally confused. I am looking for something 125.00 dollars or less.
