Default How Site Build It Customers Make Money

I apologize if this has already been addressed or maybe I should email the folks at SiteSell. But does anyone know where I can find out how most sbi customers make their money? Is this information made public?

I've been following these discussions and I'd never heard of this tool before but it seems legit.

Hey HaroldP,

The page that actually sold me on sbi was case-studies.sitesell.com. It's a great page to view because you can read about the many different ways people used sbi to make money.

Some are affiliates, others sell their own ebooks, one guy has his own store selling juggling balls. But there are about 10-15 stories in all displaying the different kind of sites you can create. It's really amazing to see all the different ways the sbi customers make money.

I have to admit I thought this sbi stuff was a bunch of hype at first but I actually emailed one of the successful people on that page and he convinced me to buy it the very same day.

While there are many monetization models SBI! customers use, many of them simply use Google's AdSense program. Of course if you want to build a long-term business, you need to do more than that. However some people do quite well with just AdSense alone.

I've heard of people making good money from AdSense but isn't that really the exception?

The reason sbi-ers do so well with AdSense (as a whole) is simple. It boils down to numbers. If over 60% of sbi-ers have a top Alexa traffic ranking then they'll probably do well with AdSense.

AdSense is all about traffic. The more traffic you have, the greater chance you have of making good money. Of course there are other factors: click percentage, site topic (some ads pay more money than others). But overall it's about getting the traffic first.

People who don't make a lot with AdSense usually don't have enough traffic to give themselves a chance. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah that page is what sold me. I actually contacted one of the people on that page (I mainly did it to see if they were real testimonials... LOL) and I was convinced after hearing their story.

Funny you should mention that, Max. I get emails from people all the time who are skeptical about SBI!. Which is certainly understandable with all the hype out here. One guy told me he though all those stories on the case studies page were fake.

I told him why not just e-mail the people on that page and ask them? Their websites are listed right on the page. That's one way to tell if a testimonial is genuine or not. If they are listed as "Tom from Oklahoma" as so many companies do, you know those are usually fake, but SiteSell actually lists the person's website address so you can always contact the people if you have doubts.

I was one of those skeptics. As you said, Lisa there are so many scams and schemes out there I think it's only natural for people to wonder if those stories are true. I think it's great SiteSell provides the actual sites because that does help ease my mind and know that these people are real.

In fact, I think this is the ONLY site I've ever seen where the testimonials look real. And big LOL to the "Tom from Oklahoma" testimonials. I simply HATE those and immediately know they are fake. It amazes me how many companies think that's fooling people. Or I hate the ones that put a random picture up as if to make it seem more real. If there is no website or email address I ignore the testimonials.

So if I do decide to sell something and take orders (along with using Adsense), I take it sbi supports this? Do they setup my order form for me? And do I need to specify the type of site I want when I order?

You don't need to specify what kind of site you want upon ordering, however if you do decide to setup a shopping cart then you can purchase Store Build It!, which is an add-on. It is an additional fee (prices vary depending on package you choose)

An alternative to purchasing Store Build It! is to simply use PayPal. You won't get the extensive shopping cart interface as you would with Store Build It! but at least PayPal is free.
