Default It's Official I've Purchased SBI

Okay, I will be starting Day 1 of the program in a couple hours. I'm looking forward to the discovery. I will submerge myself and pace myself as recommended by mchallen and lisa.

Thanks Nefiasm, sounds like you have taken a different journey for a similar goal. There is always more than one path that leads to the same destination. Some request more effort and others less effort. I think we are going at it in reverse order. I am interested in CSS, but will look at it after I've gotten a good handle with SBI's program and then WA's program. So, I will allocate time for it later. All the best. Now i am ready to begin Day 1

Yay! Congratulations. And you're right, there are many paths to success. I sort of took the same approach, Mr. Potential. I really didn't get into CSS until after I started making money. Of course, I knew and learned enough HTML and some CSS to get by and manage my websites, but I was just more interested in the marketing aspect of IM and spent more time writing and marketing in the beginning.

Thanks Lisa for your feedback. Your model is very appealing to me.
SBI Program Progress: I've completed the introduction video and materials and now I'm doing a once over through all 10 days videos and supplements, to get an overview of the entire process and record some basic notes, before i go back through each day again in a participatory manner. So far so good. I am definitely happy with my purchase.

That could hinder your use of time slightly. Don't look over the technical details - I recommend you use the Action Guide as a step-by-step tutor. By all means look ahead over the next FEW days but the concept is effectively to knuckle down and do the work chunk by chunk. Don't distract yourself

Thanks for the advice ed7up. My goal is to minimize distractions. I find i learn best when i get the big picture of all of the key components (@30,000 feet) of an entire operation or program and then start my descend a thousand feet at a time. Also, in the introductionary video, they did suggest to minimize distractions as you suggested and they also recommended doing a once over review of the 10 days before repeating as a participant in the process, which is music to my ears anyday.

How about using the written Action Guide and skim reading the content? It may be a more effective use of your time that listening to Kelly for a whole day!

@ ed7up, Thanks for your suggestion, I've already completed that part of the process.

Progress update: I've completed a review of all the 10 day videos and the supplemental videos. I preferred the ladies voice, lol . Anyway, i must say that after this experience in addition to being happy about my purchase, i recommend this product to anyone serious about starting their own online website business. Hey and don't forget to use Lisa's affiliate link.

Now that I have the full scope of the program from the 30,000 foot view. I'm ready to drill down and participate in the process step by step and day by day.

Also, I see why you suggested to me in another thread on this forum, to wait until i completed day 8 to purchase the WA product and integrate it into the development process. I will start re-evaluating that decision again after day 6 and go from there. I should have a better foundation with this program.

As a side note, the videos were a little more interactive high level learning experience for me, than skimming through the written material. Because, I had a guide with structure and it involved more of my senses. Now, I can skim through the written material with a greater insight.

So, here i go with Day 1. I am so excited.

Welcome tooty to the thread, I see you found it and thanks. I did not know they had a free version of day 4 for review. That's outstanding. However, I recommend taking the dive and get the program the moment you are ready, it is well worth the $$$. Ofcourse, use Lisa's affiliate link. I'm rolling up my sleeves now. If you all are still interested i will keep you updated on my progress.

Okay, another progress update.

progress update: completed day 1. This was a very good reinforcement of the core foundation of the program CTPM. I'm on to day 2.

Hey all,

Great to be here Mr. P.! I'm though Day 8 and taken the meandering route for sure. I'm trying to stay close to the beaten path but can't help look down the many opportunities offered along the way.

My first SBI site is up less a couple of forms and the completed 'contact' page. I took a daring (crazy) leap of faith by doing this first SBI site for a customer. To hedge my credibility I'm building a second - parallel site - in WordPress. All good.

Talk about the many paths to building a website! For example, I cannot 'code' my way out of a paper bag. If I didn't have the split view on FrontPage & Dreamweaver I'd be completely lost. But clear instructions, trial & error, and a lot of patient people along the way make the difference.

SBI! has made it clear thru days 1-8 that I'm going to be learnin' more html - that's good. But like you Mr.P I'm acutely aware and looking forward to combing through the process again in more depth. I'm concerned about the SBI! visuals thus far but cool for now because RESULTS are what I'm looking for. Results ($$$) alone are most compelling to me about SBI! and I knew going in that I can come around to enhance graphics if necessary.

There's a couple of disconnects that I have to get clear when I go back through. One is in BrainstormIt! (which is great) where we filter and filter to get the 300 or so keywords - but then only use about five for each page. I'm thinking that maybe SBI! uses all 300 to 'ping' the SE's - then I read a couple days ago that we can use BrainstormIt! to crunch other sites' keywords. Huh. How does the DB know which set of KW's is which? . . . it must not.

There's plenty of gaps that will get filled in over time.

All in all the SBI! process is very encouraging to my overall web-building outlook. My longer term goal is to learn how build a rock-solid foundation for my sites with the right mix of (working) monetization and free me up to add content to each two or three times a week.

Thanks for starting the thread. Looking forward to the interaction and progress.
