Wow, you JUST missed an opp. My friend just posted here yesterday that she had a new site to sell (got it from the buy 1 get 1 free) but she just told me that she sold it. So close! I'll keep a look out for ya.

When people have already built up websites but have reasons to sell the website (not a SBI subscription) then they can do so - I recently sold my first SBI website. Was a corker!

I saw that thread - the trouble was the subscription had about 4 months left on it!

SBIers are allowed to 'invite' guests into the SBI forums on occasions - you can't post but you can read all the topics. The sub-forum you'll want to look at is the 'Have You Heard About...' near the bottom of the forum. There, you'll find plenty of oppurtunities to buy and sell existing SBI websites.

To login, you simply need to enter the domain name minus the http:// and www. into the username and password fields: e.g. how-to-build-a-website.co.uk

I must stress that you make it very clear to buyers that you are new to SBI, since this is only fair for them to know that in a sale. Your learning curve will probably be extraordinarily high - the Action Guide is designed to make it a much simpler transition.

My recommendation is get to grips with the Action Guide NOW whilst you evaluate sales - action-guide.sitesell.com

Alternatively, you could look to set up your own website based upon your own passions and expertise. If you're looking for a long-term earner, wouldn't you rather it be a joy - something you know and love rather than 'just a website'... isn't that just a new form of '9-till-5'!

Yackojo,

The Action Guide is quality stuff, oh yes! Are you still not able to get into the forums? I've just tried logging in with a guest account - simply copy and paste the domain without the prefix exactly. E.g:

how-to-build-a-website.co.uk
2-create-a-website.com
anguilla-beaches.com

into both the username and password fields.
