Default Is SBI for classified ads sites???

Hello everybody... I have heard good comments about SBI uses, but I am considering a "classified ads" site, so I am wondering if SBI could support me.
Specially because all the samples I have seen are different from my idea.
Is there anyone who could share a sample of this kind of site, made using SBI ???????
Thank you

No, I would definitely NOT recommend buying SBI! if this is going to be the main feature of your site. Classified sites usually require PHP and SBI! does not support PHP uploads at this time. Your only other option would be to use SBI! for your main site to learn to drive traffic to your classified site, but you'd need to host your classified site somewhere else.

Any regular host will do... GoDaddy, Hostgator, BlueHost, you name it. They all pretty much work the same. The trick will be finding a classified script and learning how to install it on your host.

Hey Clarco,
What Lisa said isn't "entirely" true.

You can use PHP with Site Build It! . They have a feature called Infin It! which allows you to plug in basically anything by "mapping" a third-party provider such as a blog, forums, or in your case, a classifieds site into your existing domain.

The only issue is it would have to be a subdomain. This might not be a bad idea considering that SBI! is really good at bringing traffic. You could use the main part of your website to drive traffic. Then, visitors would naturally go to the PHP part of your site.

You would need to register at a regular host like Lisa suggested, in addition to your SBI! site. But when you "mapped" everything together, search engines would treat it as if it were apart of your site.

To summarize, don't count SBI! out if you are wanting to do something PHP related! It CAN be done. It just takes a little tweak in the settings (very simple to do) with Infin It! and you can plug in an "infinite" number of things.

Why not integrate the classifieds section with Content 2.0 - you don't necessarily need a turnkey classifieds script.

I see no reason why not?

You'd write some content - perhaps about best trading ideas, advice - importantly a disclaimer! And then work in keyword-focused content pages that introduce each category. Each post is then operated via Content 2.0.

Why not quiz sitesell about it - question.sitesell.com
