t2 question
Hi.
I am new, and just joined SBI this past Friday yay me.
I have a question on T2 pages, is it ok to have some t2 pages without t3 pages attached to it? As an example, I went to Lisa's flat stomach site and I noticed there where hardly any t3 pages (or am I missing something?)
ps lisa there is a rather sketch-o-rama google ad at the bottom of your "best flat stomach book" page that takes you to someone else's page selling the same book.
thanks for your help,
oran

Hi Oran,
You should definitely follow their advice on the Tier 2/Tier 3 pages. A lot of people ask me about that and I have no answer other than I just marched to the beat of my own drum in regards to that.

I would suggest that you follow the Action Guide and the Tier Structure recommendations as closely as possible.
I just recently started my second SBI site. When I started my first site, I didn't follow the Action Guide as closely as I should have. Rather than allowing my site to take shape based on the keywords revealed during the brainstorming process, I tried to force the site structure based on the pages that I wanted to include. The result? Poor keywords and an unfocused structure. A year later I had to completely restructure the entire site, which took a lot of time and a lot of effort.
With my second site, I vowed to follow the Action Guide like it was my personal Bible. I scoured the forums for all the brainstorming, keyword selection, and tier structure information that I could find. I watched all of the supplemental videos and.....voila! My second site structure just fell right into place with minimal effort.
The site is only three weeks old right now and already has pages ranked in the top 20 and the top 10 with Yahoo! and every page indexed with Google.
What I would suggest for you......if you cannot possibly think of any relevant T3 pages that make sense with your T2....broaden your horizons a bit and try to make the existing T2 a T3 of a broader T2. Make sense?

Ok thanks for the advice Tracy & Lisa. I'll take a look at my tiers again and the forums to see what I can come up with.
Is it normal for SBI sites to get get indexed by google in 3 weeks? I had read it was between 4-8?
Thanks,
Oran

I don't know what the average is. Where did you read 4-8?

I *thought* I read it in one of the SBI books, affiliate masters or MYWS or maybe it was from SBi forum but then there is so much information I am trying to ingest at this point I don't really remember.

Yes, I know it's a lot to absorb huh? Indexing speed/time will depend on a variety of factors but if you just follow the action guide, you will be fine. I hate to say how long because things are always changing. For my site, it was probably a few weeks but that was 2005.
