Default Just me babbling about my website.

This is just me babbling about my website. I just wanted to know if anyone had any comments on this subject.

If brainstorm it doesn’t find good keyword for your page all hope is not lost. Last month I wrote a page for my appliance repair site about how to disassemble a GE washer. Then I researched for keywords for that page. I know this is backward from what you are supposed to do but it is just the way it worked out.

Come to find out, there were no good key words that made sense to base my page on. The keyword that I wanted to use was too rare to be in the database. I couldn’t find anything else that made sense that I haven’t already used too many times.

So I decided just to create the page using the keyword that wasn’t even in brainstorm-it’s database. While brainstorm it was right no search engines have found this page at all, this page turn out to be in the top 15% of all my pages on my site as far as page views goes. This tells me that it is a good thing I created this page despite the fact no one has found it through the search engines because my visitors are benefiting from it a lot.

The thing I learned from this is that if I have a page I need to create to make my website better even if I can’t find the greatest keyword to use, Create it anyway . Of course I would never get much traffic, if all of my pages were like that but it is ok to have some.

Excellent point!! Sometimes you have to go beyond the numbers and tools and do what's logical for your audience. You can babble like this anytime. A lot of people can learn from this. This is such a great example of writing for your audience.
