Hello,

I am a student from Belgium and i want to start with building websites. I study computer science and i know how to make a decent website with dreamweaver or other programs. What makes SBI so good that you guys buy it?

There are other free programs like drupal. Drupal is an open source content managing system that is extremly easy to use aswell. And for 0$.
So why should I buy SBI?

The only thing i don't have alot of knowledge of is optimising a site so you get more traffic to it. I guess SBI has alot of tutorials on this matter aswell but i don't know if it's worth it to buy SBI just for this.

Anyone following me here?

But from what I know, in short it will save you lots of time.

The key thing is that everything is in one place, it teaches you about everything you need to know and do step by step, it does somethings in the background so you don't need to do them, unlimited hosting, private SBI forums and all the tools to help you generate keywords, brainstorming and more

Now in my currency GBP it was £200 for a whole year and you may think its a lot but your getting all these tools and an education as well as a website which could provide you with income as long as you stick to it!

As i see it SBI is a very good option for people who are not professional programmers or have few experience with web design and such themes. Even though i happen to be a professional programmer and can program in PHP,CSS, use smarty, mysql and such quite competently, i have thought of purchasing it, not for its website creation features but mainly for the nice tools and analyzing systems it contains, mainly to save my own time from coding or finding such ones. Overall, i can sincerely say that it's one of the best such software i've encountered online and i think they are very sincere in what they provide too.

I think SBI is overrated. Try squarespace, for my honest opinion.

Your talking about two different things here

SBI is the full ultimate package for $250 whereas squarespace does about half or less for $10 less with the 'advanced' package

With SBI your setting out to earn money and make a business with squarespace its missing a load of key features and it seems to me as if its just a good website builder and statisitics, for one its missing unlimited storage and unlimited bandwidth, it doesn't guide you through how to make a successful website, it doesn't have all the documentation and resources, its missing the tools that SBI has which really help like Brainstorm It and all the others, private lively forums, I'm not going to drag on

At the end of the day if your seeking to earn money off your website SBI is the only tool out there of its kind and squarespace does not compete it looks like glorified web hosting

I'm not saying this just because I own SBI or I want to state your wrong, I'm saying this because if you want to make an online business you would be wasting your money with squarespace

Hi Lisa, I agree with you. I’m no hard core coder/programmer but I do come across people who sometimes say ‘if you don’t create a webpage by using HTML and notepad you’re cheating’, this doesn’t make sense to me either. I’m after a result, the quicker I can get that result the better.

I think what people will appreciate with SiteBuildIT is that it saves them time while still providing a quality result, and you really have to ‘value’ your time.

I mean if it took someone more than say 6 hours to build a website by coding, at $20 to $30 dollars an hour, and SiteBuildIT could produce the same or better result in an hour. Then it’s a no brainer really, it’s much cheaper in real terms for you to bite the bullet and purchase SiteBuildIT.

I don’t understand this “I’m gonna jump off a cliff, so you have to too”, mentality. That’s just crazy and these people you’re talking about obviously have some issues.

I think the old adage of ‘Work Smarter, Not Harder’ applies here!

SBI isn't about building a website. It's about building a web based business.

If you have the education to build pages, and all you need to know is how to get traffic, then yeah, I would say build a free site and find tuts and articles on how to get traffic to it.

But if you want to build a business and draw an income from that traffic in the most lucrative ways possible....I would say invest the $300. The forums are worth the $300 alone.

I only have one website and it’s SBI so I have nothing to compare to but I don’t believe I could have gotten this far without SBI. I have no computer skills to speak of and I have created a website with nearly 100 pages in 6 months and getting some traffic. It is making me decent side line money not enough to live off but that was never my intent.

All I can say is I have tryed this twice on my own and the website is no problem but the problem is getting the traffic to the site. plus you have all the tools you need at your finger tips. You can get the site up and running much faster.

Well howdy from Oklahoma, USA! Let me say this first..... I am not an SBI user. The first thing you must decide is what field of computer marketing are you going into. SBI!, like many other companies, offer one main field. SBI! is mainly affiliate marketing. If you don't want to go into affiliate marketing, please shop around first before you buy SBI! (or any other website creation stuff) You can always buy tools like theirs (cheaper or not), but you will get quality help. For more help, please tell us what field you want to go into.

You make a good point. You don't have to choose affiliate marketing. That just happens to be what a lot of people choose (particularly SBIers). Even though SBI! does have advice on other types of sites (there are other successful, non affiliate marketing SBI! sites - jugglenow.com is an example), but affiliate marketing is their main focus.

Nevertheless, I do think people should spend time learning the many ways you can make money. I think some people get tunnel vision and think the only way to make money online is through google ads and affiliate marketing but you can do dropshipping, write for elance.com, sell things on eBay, you name it. Definitely good advice, ithinkican.

I remember reading a story of a guy who failed miserably at affiliate marketing. He tried it for 2 years but couldn't get anything going. Then he tried PPC and made a killing in just a few short months because he was very good at creating squeeze/sales pages and quickly closing the deal. Even though PPC may involve affiliate marketing, it's a much different approach than how I make money as an affiliate.

Spend time learning about the ways to make money online and choose the avenue that best fits your skills.

Thanks Lisa! I think the biggest/frustrating parts of making and planning a website is the field of marketing and the niche. I've been searching for a long time on different all-in-one web hosting companies. So far the only ones I've found are: WebSite Tonight, Powweb, StoresOnline, XSite Pro, and Site Build IT!.
