Well from what I know you go through the beginning parts, the action guide, thinking about what your going to do first using the brainstorm tool etc THEN once your ready your create your domain, once that's done you can access all the tools etc

In there you will find a button where you can upload your own HTML e.g. dreamweaver

As for do you upload the whole website every time you update or just a single page im not quite sure yet either, I'm guessing when you click 'upload your own html' it takes you to another window showing your uploaded pages and you can edit/delete/upload more pages etc

Hopefully someone with a site and site build it can help you better

You sure can. That's what I used to create my design for flat-stomach-exercises.com You first need to read the transition instructions in SBI! for "Uploading Your Own HTML" and then create your site using Dreamweaver. SBI! provides the specific instructions for how to upload it to your domain.

Default Editors

I have a question about about Editors. I have built a site before using nvu and really took me a while to get it finished. Does SBI have its own Editor. After my past experiences I would like to spend the brunt of the time on content instead building the site. I quess what I am asking is SBI easier to get up and built that other Editors. Once you pick your Template does SBI have its own Editor? thanks............bill

Hi

SBI! comes with a block-by-block builder but if you use their templates you can only edit the area inside of the template. It's very limited. So when you're ready to have your own custom design, it's best to use your own editor. For example I used Dreamweaver to redesign my SBI! site.
