I have hardly been on these forums lately :O
Been busy and such but I'm back on track, I have some knowledge of html/CSS and I have just been building on this before I start making pages
I kept pondering on site builder because I just wanted to get on with some quality content but I wanted the flexibility of html/css so like I said I'm taking some timeout to learn it so I can make the quality of my site that bit better
Obviously this part is probably the slowest like going to the top of a rollercoaster, it takes some time but once your over the top its action all the way, basically what I'm saying is I'm getting to grips with making those first few pages properly and then uploading them but after that initial step I know what to do and I can produce pages with better quality and faster!
Funny thing is I'm already getting on average 2 visits a day Hehehe but that's only from two links 1. is a small forum where I know everybody and the other is whatismydomain.com or something funny anyway I'm not gonna say my website will be finished on a certain date but it will be done when it's done, I'm pretty sure I want a home page up by tomorrow so I should have my URL in my sig file soon!
And Lisa I liked your recent video 8400+ subscribers, there are so many people out there doing these pyramid videos it is frustrating!

I just love your attitude about this whole process. I can tell you are learning and enjoying yourself. Yes, definitely wait on the HTML/CSS transition. You will be glad you did. I had a friend that did it a month or so after her site launched. She regretted it so badly because she was not knowledgeable enough about CSS so the transition was a ball of confusion and she wished she had waited.
You're doing the right thing. Keep building content, work on promoting your site and tackle the re-design last.
Congrats on your progress.

I have my parents on my back though, at the moment I have a part time job and that's it I just finished my A-levels, there is no jobs about at all, if there are any they require experience or are absolutely miles away (full time jobs), so I pretty much spend the week apart from weekends getting on with this website stuff and its almost like they think I'm just making a website for the hell of it and I won't make anything worthwhile from it.
You know for example my mum comes up and says 'why are you on the computer, you should be out there looking for a job or something' which makes me want to laugh that she actually thinks I can get hold of a proper full time job, I mean it was fairly hard but do-able before the economic crisis but now you'd be lucky at my age with no experience etc, I don't think they can see the potential of a website business
But I will prove the doubters wrong! Thanks for your support Lisa!

I know what you mean. I still hear that "Get a real job" comment from people that don't know me personally (usually on YouTube). I used to get it from some of family members but now they all know what I'm making so they have been silenced. Now they're all trying to do it. LOL Keep up the great work. You can do it.

Yea! I spend a lot of time on it atm because its in its infancy and my parents seem to think I'm gonna spend my life on the computer HA! quite the opposite I hope this website will give me the freedom to get out there and explore, beats working 9 to 5 in a job you dislike.
My real purpose to post here though was for a quick question I know SBI creates site maps automatically but I was wondering is the sitemap just a background thing used for the search engines or will a link appear at the bottom for my users to look through as well saying 'sitemap'? Thanks again Lisa!

The Sitemap that you're talking about is just for the search engines so they know about all your pages. If you want an actual sitemap for your visitors then you need to create one manually.

Hey again, I keep asking questions I got my template finished yesterday and its brilliant!
I have been looking at log files when people visit the site and I know of programs which can collect data on the operating system, country and browser used
I know SBI can do some of this like where the traffic was referred from, how many visits, what day and what country but I would also like the extra data from these other tools but I need access to the log files, is this something I cannot access when using SBI? Its not my top priority or anything but I am interested

I would definitely recommend also using Google Analytics. SBI!'s stats are log stats and the results are inflated/confusing due to how data is collected. Nothing against SBI!, that's how all log file stat programs work. I use Google Analytics on my SBI! site and just use that data. It's much more thorough and accurate anyway.

Hi Craig
Good luck with your SBI account. I am interested in following your progress. Just don't rush it.
All the best

Damm how time flies
Just an update, everything with SBI has been going well I have to say the method of uploading html and analyze it is great and so easy and the automatic site maps is another thing off my mind
I have done around 10 pages, I know exactly what I'm doing and its mainly building up all my content for the time being, I rushed into signing up to some of the affiliate programs I wanted to be part of but I stopped before actually making a relationship with the companies as I knew I would be getting a step ahead of myself REMEMBER CTPM
I'm really confident in what I'm doing, I'm hoping to attract millions through the years to come (maybe a bit to overconfident) anyway watch this space by the end of September I hope to have my content done so I will pop back with an update and post the web address
Bye! and thanks

To get the most out of your investment solely depends on you. The action guide, can be a little bit of a time consuming process.
