How I found SBI!
Please let me bore you with my SBI! story...
I got hired as an Affiliate Manager for a company because of my graphic design background, not because I knew anything about the Internet. I was green and needed to learn quickly.
So I started devouring everything I could learn about the Internet.
As I was researching the most successful affiliates in my program I started to see that many had sites that looked very similar. I noticed a "Powered By Site Build It!" banner on the bottom of the page.
Obviously I was curious so I began to learn about it. I realized that building an SBI! site would be the perfect way for me to learn about online marketing and how to build a website... or at least that's what I hoped.
That was over 3 years ago and I can say I've never regretted my decision to buy and use Site Build It! for my "college degree" in online marketing. I've got 2 SBI! sites now and 4 others on other platforms. I really couldn't have done it without the education I got from Ken Evoy and the SBI! system.
And I agree with Lisa... the educational part of SBI! is awesome. And $300 for an education that WILL change your life is great money spent. You'll have a money-making skill you can use the rest of your life.

SBI Question
I have emailed SBI and cannot find the answer to a simple question.
If I create a website with SBI do I have to host with them? OR can I download what I create and FTP my new website to my own domain on another host? If someone here knows the answer can they please let me know?
Thanks

Yes, the price includes domain, hosting, tutorials, etc. Everything for SBI! is located at one central location that you login to.

If I were a noobie and decided to go with SBI. That's a question I would ask.
Say after the first year I decided SBI was not for me could I move the site to another host. Would all the work have been wasted or would I be able to transfer it?.
It is a bit surprising they don't have a T&C page available before you sign up. It's a bit late after you have handed over your bucks.
I suppose it really a question like the other thread "Who owns your content?"

Yes you can!
Yes you absolutely can move it to another host if you want to. You can even keep the domain name.
It's a bit harder if you use the Blockbuilder because you'll have to pull your whole site down from the browser first but it is doable.
But I'll bet you $10 that after a year you won't be moving it though. You'll want more time to access all the learning tools at SBI!.

Bob, I canceled my first SBI! site because I ignored the action guide and rushed thru the process. I moved my domain and content to another host with no problem. Fortunately I had all my content saved on my computer too. But yes, it is a bit of a pain if you use the block by block builder.

No because I was not in the right mindset at the time and didn't follow the guide. (I was rushing and had too many other priorities) I bought it again 4 years later and took my time and have the results to prove it now.

(Lisa) Even though you oviously had previously web designing experience before you purchased SBI! for the second time. Do you think that you would be as 'successful' as you are today if you did not use SBI! to make www.flat-stomach-exercises.com ?
Sorry for asking you another question....
P.S I am looking forward to see more of your articles from http://www.webpronews.com/

Honestly, yes I do. What you may not know is that the only reason I bought SBI! is because I was an affiliate FIRST and was promoting it without owning it. So I had some website building experience and success prior to owning SBI!. I wanted to create more credible recommendations from an affiliate standpoint and see if it really is a good tool for beginners.

Existing website
I believe my question fits into this thread?
SBI seems to be the program that I need. I have joined other programs
that I thought the same thing, but they only told you what to do, but not
how to do. I have read several ebooks on different subjects.
I have learned quite a bit, but there are too many gaps. I cannot afford
a coach. Will I need one with SBI?
If you have a website already, could you later on transfer it to SBI after
you build your first one?

Hi Pansy. Welcome to the forum.
SBI is the coach. It supplies all the tutorials you need to get your website started.
You can upload a website but AFAIK it can't handle dynamic sites like wordpress blogs etc.

Yes Pansy SBI! is a great way to go. It's strength really is the hand-holding and guidance you get. I honestly believe it's the best way to do your first site. You'll learn just about everything you'll need to know to become a real online marketer.
And really after you learn what to do you won't need to transfer your old site into SBI!. You'll know how to fix it.
There's nothing special about SBI! hosting really. It's the education and guidance that make it worth the money.

Thanks
Thanks Bob and Rick. In reading all the other post SBI seems to be what
newbies need. I am new here, but I am impressed with the helpful
comments that are being made. I'm sure I'll have questions too.
