Hey Alana,

There are soooooo many things I like about SBI. Their web templates are not one of them

I used my own HTML to build a site. The design isn't the greatest. Once I purchased SBI I learned how write HTML. Still . . . I like it a lot better than the SBI templates.

See for yourself at http://www.the-mic-check.com!

BTW - I like the design of your "Beginner Blogger" and "Ireland" sites. What program (if any) did you use to build them?

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for adding your sbi sites and sorry for not getting Back here sooner, the joint project has been put on hold for now but I will still look into sbi as it will probably be the best option for my friend layer on.

I haven't gotten to check out everyone site yet, but I'll be on tonight and I'll be sure to take a look, I'm very interested in the designs and templates particularly

Nikkistjohn

Thanks, I like your design overall, there seems to be a slight problem with alignment but I'm on my itouch so that might be why, but it's very clean looking, well done

As for my sites they are both blogs, the Irish one is a basic blogger template, I only changed the header and the blogger beginner one is the standard minima template, I just altered the code to add a third column and the header is a free one I downloaded, I like to use free templates and adjust them to suit my needs although I'm working on a new template of my own, really just as an experiment. Do you have a blog to help promote your site? It's a great way of building your traffic and is really east to set up.

Thanks again everyone, will be checking your sites out later on

Alana,

Thanks for taking the time to check out my site! I have an iPhone as well and the alignment is off on my mobile device, too. Learning how to program sites for hand held devices now. Want to get that problem fixed.

My site was actually supposed to be a blog although it turned out to be something completely different than planned. The "Put Me On" section is supposed to be the actual blog part of my site. Maybe I should highlight that more in some way? Still playing around with things . . . trying to get them just right.

Which free templates did you download? Would love to have the URL's for the free templates so I can check them out.

Thanks so much! Keep up the good work.

You guys all have really beautiful sites.

I've had my sbi site for two years as of this coming Thursday and I started knowing NOTHING about web design. Two years later and I'm now uploading my own pages and looking to switch to a 3 column design.

I started monetizing a year ago and my site now pays for itself and then some so the potential is there and it's exciting. About three weeks ago one of the producers of the Oprah show was researching a show on frugality and found me through Google. She was so impressed she called me for some info based on my content. It was a hoot.

But I bring that up to say clearly SBI has taught me something about how to build a credible site, and it's not even at 100 pages yet.

I'm so glad I found Lisa's site and this forum. This is all the stuff I want to learn to move my business to the next level.

My site is also an SBI site so I can relate to everyone's stories here. For anyone that is concerned with the price, the Demos, Forums and TNT articles make SBI worth the money.

Default Another SBIer

Hello everyone,

I have had SBI now for about two weeks, so I just got started. However, if you want to take a look it is at www.mikes-guitar-corner.com. I just started it so I still need a lot of work to do on it. I'm using the block by block method, but I started a little html within that method. There's no Monitizement on it yet since I juest started. Have a look and tell me what you think.

I have been a SBI user since last November. I read about building websites on Lisa’s website and decided SBI was right for me! Glad I did it is great! My website is not much to look at I got my hands full on information for now. Hopefully I can work on the look of my website soon maybe when the three column template comes out.

So if you are an sbi user and have you site in your sig and wouldn't mind me taking a look at it, please leave a reply
And if you have any advice or info it would be appreciated

Thanks!
Although I used SBI's tools to plan and analyze my site, I did not use their web design tools but my brother created a site using their block builder which is one of the better looking and performing (CTR is HIGH) SBI sites I've seen.
