That part of your message struck me. That is so true. I talk to Ken on the phone from time to time and he's amazing. He's so in tune with why people fail and making SBI! better. He wants people to succeed.
At the same time, he's definitely aware that SBI! lacks some of the other "traditional web hosting features" that people want, like hosting multiple domains, MYSQL support, etc. but you if you think back to what SBI! was like in 2000 when it first launched, it has come a looooooooooooooooooooong way.
In fact, that's why I didn't buy it at first. I thought it was too archaic. And in some ways it still is to someone who is more advanced with website development. But as Ken says time and time again, it's not necessarily the features that make the money. It's the content and your unique voice.
But I tell you what... when SBI! does finally add more of those "traditional host features" and people can host forums, chat rooms, wordpress blogs, etc... look out web hosting world!
