Interested in SBI but....

Hi Everyone,

First of all I want to introduce myself. My name is Amro and I'm new here. I
would like to say that I like what I see here Lisa. Your doing a great job.
Hope I can help out people the same way you do in the future.

I'm interested in purchasing sbi but I'm in doubt because of the fact they
don't allow customers to add php pages and make up databases.

Like this forum for instance. I seems like it's on a seperate hosting account
outside SBI. When are they going to let customers add dynamic systems?

I think it will be important if they want to stay ahaed of competition since
web 2.0 is changing the internet.

Did someone hear anything about SBI changing file uploads in the near future?

I understand and I cannot wait until they allow this too. Although not sure when that will be. Because of their builder and all the proprietary tools and technology, it is probably a challenge for SiteSell to setup their platform to operate like a regular host. But I bet they're working on it because so many people have requested this.

Right now, the only way to host a forum on SBI! is to create it on another platform and use their InfinIt! tool to change the domain records so it appears to be hosted on your SBI! domain. But in reality you are still hosting it elsewhere. Not a good option for most people, which I completely understand.

That's really bad I wanted to use SBI it would have made all my marketing solutions, but my new site is going to revolve around PHP. Really gutted about that one!
