I Purchased SBI Again
Hello everyone,
Just to let you know that after much thought I decided to sign up for SBI again. Working on Day 2 Brainstorming. I'll keep you all updated as to how my site progresses.

Congrats! Take your time on day 2 and be careful not to get too caught up in the numbers. In addition to using those tools also do your own research in Google and see what kind of competition you'll have. Sometimes there may be a lot of sites (competition) on a topic but when you do your own physical research you'll discover the quality of these sites are low and there is STILL room for you. I just like to remind people of that because some people get stuck on day 2 and feel the numbers have to be perfect. The net is saturated so there is no such thing as a perfect niche anymore.
Good luck!

Also Lisa there is something I would like to say!!
numbers are always tricky because changing just a few words in an article can make that page boost up hundreds of pages in ranking

Exactly so that's why it's important to not only look at the numbers but also follow your gut and use your own passion and experience with the subject to guide you along as well. Otherwise you'll go nuts and never start.

Thanks Lisa and Mirage2009 on for the words of wisdom. That's good advice Lisa not to get too "caught up in the numbers" and doing some research of my keywords of my own on Google. I got stuck in Day 2 last time I signed up for SBI and just gave up, taking advantage of their 30 day money back guarantee. The niche that I'm wanting to build a website on is "Internet Security". The subtopics are keystroke loggers, spam, phishing, identity theft, trojan horses, spyware, etc. I actually had a site called Internet Security 101 online back in 2005-2007, with I build to over 40 pages of content on internet security and privacy. I only had Google Adsense on the site for a few months, but made only $100 from it. It more than paid for my internet hosting and domain name anyways. I own the domain internetsecurity101.net and internetsecurity101.com and would like to get an updated and rewritten internet security & privacy site up and running again. Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my post.

Sounds good.
Just a word of encouragement. I think you have a good thing going and a great domain name, too. This area is one in which there is increasing need, especially if you include protecting kids from internet dangers (don't know if you had that in mind as well, but I think it is one of several areas of importance).

James, thanks for the words of encouragement. I appreciate it. Also, that is a great idea for my site to include information and resources on child safety online. I don't have any children myself, but have lots of friends and family with children. I know that this is a real area of concern for parents, especially with the increasing amount of time children and teens spend online. Another area that I would like to include content on is Wireless Internet security. Anyways, thanks again.
