Default Hello Another Newbie Here

And soon to be SBI owner - thanks to trading a few emails with Lisa and going over the sbi website experience- Seems like I'm also learning more by visiting this forum also.

I have my niche/content and I'm almost ready to sign up with SBI but I wanted to do little more research on SBI, especially hearing from fellow owners/webmasters as well. I know it will take time for my site to grown and possible generate hits, revenue but isn't have the content is what will make it really work?

I will let everyone know after I've made my purchase. I will needing help and I'm sure you all will make yourself available, right?.....

Renee it's great that you have your topic in mind but also remember that SBI has a brainstorming tool. After using it you may discover that your topic is not getting enough searches or you may decide to refine/change it. That's the whole point of buying SBI!. It shows you supply/demand for your topic.

When I bought it I thought I was going to do it on a certain topic but after doing some more research I changed mine to fitness. So just be aware that you may decide to change your topic once you use the tools.

SBI! also has their own forum for customers and you will have access to that after you join. The people that post there have successful sites and are extremely helpful so you won't be alone, trust me.

And of course you can always come here too with questions.

Default Hey Lisa!

I'm looking forward to the brainstorming part, one is because I have been writing ever since I was in my teens (I'm in my 40's now) and I never run out of ideas or things to write about. I never have writer's block- I have articles, screenplays, short stories all in my room, on paper it's crazy. I'm finding out that writing informational pieces interests me more than say, having a website selling products. I'm very open to learning what I can. I have a full-time IT job which pays really good so for me to get into this is because I like to write and I like to help people so since I consider myself very good at both (as well as being told this - not to toot my own horn) I'm thinking why not do what I like to do on the internet.

I sent in a question on the SBI website last night and I received a email from Judd Burdon a short while ago. I did want to ask about traffic for your website in regards to Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. SBI will be responsible for doing that? Putting the website out there as far as getting traffic for it? I can't remember where I read that or maybe you can explain that to me if you can.

Thank you,

Renee

As you build your pages SBI! coaches you on how to insert your keywords, build your pages, etc to optimize each page for whatever keyword phrase you're targeting. Then it submits to the major engines for you. SBI! doesn't guarantee any amount of traffic, but follow their guidelines helps you rank well for your keywords.
