Default .com.au website?

Can I use the SBI system to build and publish an australian ".com.au" website as against just a :.com" website?

I'm not 100% sure but I think so. You can always email support to ask. http://support.sitesell.com

I also wanted to ask if I need to write a business plan for an online business. I'm working on one at the moment but I wanted to know if I really needed to write one if using the SBI system. Is the business plan already part of the SBI system?

No, the business plan would be up to you. Understand SBI! provides the tools to build your site and the education to help market it and make money. As far as implementing your business plan, that part is up to you.

It never hurts to outline a plan before you begin so by all means if that's something you want to do I don't think there is a "yes" or "no" answer to this. It depends on what works for you. I didn't have an official business plan for any of my sites but that's just me. Everyone works differently.
