Default Return of investment in 1 year?

Those of you that have SBI!, who has made a profit from it within your first year? I have to renew my site in about 1 month, and I think I've done pretty well so far. I can't wait to see where I'll be this time next year. I'm already thinking about starting another site.

Default Great Question

Hi West,

That's a great question and I am curious as well...

To further drill down for those who care to respond- I am wondering how long it took to hit the $300 mark and essentially pay for the first year of SBI! ?

I am eagerly awaiting to break the $100 threshold w/ google adsense- but it's coming soon I just know it (started my site end of feb/begininng march)

For me I think I only started making some money from my site at around month 9 or 10, but I'm pretty sure it had paid for itself by the end of the first year. The second year it paid for itself several times over, and I think that by the third year I was (and still am) doing it full time...

The thing with SBI I find is that it's not 'fast', but it does indeed snowball IF you think of the needs and requirements of your visitors first, and then find innovative ways to monetize from there. Of course, this is the opposite of what most people who want to make money online do - they think about themselves and the money they can get first - which is why so few who don't do SBI (or follow the same general philosophy) simply never get off the ground.

"Tortoise it".

I know this is an old thread, but I'll chime in since it's something I was curious about when I was new.

I made back my SBI investment after about 4-5 months.

I have just started designing my SBI! site and am very optimistic. My test adsense site has almost made it's first $100 in 7 months and is not optimize anywhere near what my new site is.

Congrats to everyone's success!

Wow Jazzy! That is excellent and probably well above the average. From my experience it has taken most people 9 months to 2 years to see an ROI. Shows you what's possible when you work hard. Congrats.

You guys are inspiring!

I just hit the six-month mark for purchase, although I didn't start building my site until March really.

I am a true definition of tortoise...I just hit the 30-page mark this weekend, but with kids, job, scouts, and trying to learn how to better my site as I go I just can't go any faster.

Hope to start reading about monetizing now and be monetized within the next six months!!!!

but from reading about you guys it gives me hope and I feel I will be successful!
